The host of Etalon was the best host we ever had. He picked us up for a fee at the railway station, he drove us for a fee to Charyn Canyon and dropped us off at our next apartment. He was superfriendly, kind and made us feel like a friend of the family instead of a paying customer. He also arranged a wonderful horseride with his daughter, she's a guide. We liked playing pingpong, the outside shower. He made our stay perfect. Thank you very much!

A lovely little oasis and we were fortunate to be given a free room upgrade so we were very grateful for this. One staff member in particular was lovely and spoke English, he was super helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were ok. We loved the garden space and the room was spacious and comfy. They prepared a lovely meal for us and some nice tea as well. They were kind and gracious hosts.

Travelling a lot and sleeping in many hotels gives you a sense of idea what to expect and what to look for - but wauw this hotel was surpassing all my expectations. The staff at the reception were extremely nice, friendly and truly cute! They could not be more cooperative and helpful. The location is thé best. Showers are powerful and something to look forward to every day. The beds are perfect. And the breakfast is very yummy and diverse. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

First of all, let me say that I felt more comfortable than at home. When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted with a smile and sincerity. Although I had reserved a single bed and a small room, a huge room and a double bed were allocated to me free of charge. My dirty clothes were washed carefully and given to me. No extra charge was taken for all my insistence. The owner of this hotel is an angelic family, they helped me a lot in every way. I now have a house and very good friends in Almaty. Thank you very much Mr. Gari and his wonderful family, I am grateful to you! The location of the hotel is quite nice, close to the airport and easy to reach the city center. There is a large shopping mall, restaurants, cafes, market, banks, barber, currency exchange office etc. nearby. I highly recommend it, you will be very pleased with your stay.
