This is our 6th visit to Kuwait in 2023. And this is our second time to stay in Swiss-Belinn Sharq Hotel. With no exaggeration, the hotel offers what a traveler is looking for. Clean, quiet and comfortable stay. Staff are super helpful and friendly, they helped us a lot. A bid shoutout to Ala’a, Ridha’a and AbduAlrahman. Thank you for making our stay as comfy and welcoming. We love the room.. it is very clean and modern furniture.. elegant style..thanks to special attention of Ms.Nour from.reception, very attentive staff from housekeeping, pool is clean and safe special deligths from Management and to Ms Lovella, they have 2parts of lobby which i like with different kind of art collection and painting that add accent to the lobby and add to the interest of my mini cupcake to arts, A small starbucks is a plus, and in room tv with youtube and netflix access. All in all is an excellent choice, actually the room are big... i can recommend to my other family and friends. Thank you.. hopefully we will be back

    Kuwait is a beautiful country with a unique charm. It offers a wide variety of restaurants and shopping malls that cater to all tastes, making it a great destination for dining and shopping lovers. However, we do wish there were more visible recreational activities—or perhaps they do exist, but aren't well publicized. It would be wonderful to see more promotion and awareness of such activities, as they would add even more vibrancy and fun to the experience of visiting or living in Kuwait. Overall, it's a lovely place with lots of potential, and we look forward to exploring more of what it has to offer!

    Kuwait is small and easy to tour in a day.

    Kuwait is small and easy to tour in a day. My favorite place was Souq Mubarakiya where you get to mingle with the locals shopping. For authetic Kuwaiti cuisine and their famous Machbous go to Freij Sweilleh restaurant in Souq Mubarakiya. There is a separate dining are a for families if you are a solo woman traveller or women and the staff will direct you upstairs. There is no Uber so you will fall victim to bad taxi drivers. My experience with the airport taxi service - they wanted cash. I wanted to pay by credit card. They said the first card did not work. I gave them a second card. They said it did not work. They took cash then I saw they charged both cards. Then, the taxi driver from Souq Mubarakiya charged me $150 from the Souq to my hotel - 16KM, then he offered a half day tour for 150KD which I canceled after I realized he was overcharging visitors to Kuwait. Shame on him. My final ride from the hotel to the airport with the Ethiopian taxi driver was only 5KD. At least he left me with a good impression.

    The state representatives need to do more and more to...

    The state representatives need to do more and more to improve the quality of the roads, main streets , old markets , control crowded pubulation in the cities , organize the lands in the community areas for the masive number of vehicles, random parking areas , the quality and healthiness of the food service shops. The border between KSA & Kuwait 🇰🇼 state is old , lacking staff or supervision & new technology services and waisting travelers time for the slow services out there from the Kuwaiti employees side.

    Blajat beach is very near the Code..

    Blajat beach is very near the Code.. But you need to cross dangerously fast lanes.. Traffic is too much, better said too fast.. I used to love Kuwait and still do if only there wasn't this massive amount of 5G masts.. My health deteriorates in Kuwait now, as well as some of my resident friends due to pollution (chemtrailing) and radiation.. Like in other big cities What a pity

    The hotel is very well kept , safe and clean . Appears to be a newly built property . A/C Work wonderfully . Everyone from the front desk staff ( Rahul) and the restaurant staff ( Michelle and Alaa) were extremely attentive and kind . The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choices . I travel around the world and this Hotel is where I would stay again when I travel back to Kuwait.

    Most convenient location when visiting Kuwait. Ease access to CBD and all areas within a 15 min drive. Like all Ibis the hotel is no nonsense. .. all amenities that you would need for a comfortable stay are available. Breakfast is very good. Made to order eggs and good general selection.

    The hotel is easy to find, close to downtown Kuwait city. Staff were friendly and offered me a room upgrade to superior level with better view. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. Value for money it was a good choice.
