Vibrant city with lots of culture.

Vibrant city with lots of culture. There seems to be a lot of greenery close by and the colours of the trees are spectacular. Walking down from the Seoul Tower at sunset was beautiful as was the Olympic Park walk around the lake. The fact that people wear traditional costumes to the palaces makes those visits special. The night market in the centre should not be missed. One feels safe in Seoul with respect an important feature. The public transportation system is excellent once you get the hang of the local App. Any language barriers can be resolved using modern translation tools

Out of the few capital cities I've visited, I found Seoul to likely be one of the most overrated (a slight bit above Paris maybe). The food is great, the subway network is fast, fairly priced and very convenient, but other than that there is very little that made me think that was worth coming. And while most of the people are about as nice as anywhere else, there are quite a number of pretty rude people or a number of situations where a sort of "me first" mentality shows up (queue skipping, rushing to seats in the subway...) and can be quite annoying depending on where you come from.

It is clean, easy and culturally interesting. Food is good and coffee is great. We liked art installations in city. Under the road walkway was amazing with sights, sounds and smells. You can get around on the metro easily, or walk.

There are so much to do..

There are so much to do.. Excellent beauty care centers from Hair shop to facial / body spas. And so many different Korean restaurants to explore. Beyond that.. this city offers so many different cultural experiences that I need to stay longer or couple more visits in the future.

Koreans need to develop graciousness.

Koreans need to develop graciousness. They are very rude, drivers are horrible and paints a bad picture of the country. Need to have public signs in English and Korean. Food was awesome. There was jam everywhere even during the weekends. Government needs to something about it. Implement COE, ERP and control the vehicle population.

To get a feel for Seoul, you easily need 3-4 days.

To get a feel for Seoul, you easily need 3-4 days. The city is so big that when you look at the map, it seems like everything is close together, but I think it takes about 2 hours to cross the city from one end to the other, and that's not on foot. It's really crazy how many people (tourists) are out and about. However, it's very safe and the people are also super friendly. Seoul has a lot to offer and I was only able to get a small impression of it.

It’s probably the best you can get for that price in Seoul now. There were similar hotels for that price in 2020 in myeongdong or close to gangnam, they all doubled their rates while this one stays the same . The area has also improved with many more restaurants, nail spas and a Lotte mart nearby. If you take a taxi, you can easily reach some good malls and fun places. Even Gangnam isn’t too far IMO. They do have a coin laundry with modern washers

Localisation is perfect, very close to historical sites and with many great places to eat. However, the greatest advantage of the hotel is the host, David. He is fluent in English and extremely helpful as well as informative. He provided me plenty of advice about local restaurants, transport, and a trip to the DMZ. We also had a nice chat, which enriched my knowledge about South Korea.

Good breakfast, cozy room, close to the exhibition center. Turn right out of the hotel to eat is more expensive, turn left and walk 100 meters to eat is cheaper. Turn left out of the hotel and walk about 150 meters, there is a local Korean supermarket. Take the airport bus 6703, get off at the POSCO building station and walk to the hotel.

The hotel is very clean and the staffs are always smiling, always be kind enough to solve our question or guide us. The location is also very nice and close to Myeongdong, this is the hotel that we will want to to stay again if next time to South of Korea.

Look if you want super basic! A hard bed but a hot shower and 1/2 price of anywhere else take it! Accommodations are expensive in Korea so it’s cheap without going hostel, but no where near luxury stay I’d give it like 2 star hotel if your lucky
