Villa Malindi was an exceptional experience for myself, my wife and my 13 year old son. Alexander is an incredible host with an extensive knowledge of all of the best places to go and activities to do in Malindi and surrounding area. He is also extremely well connected with local business owners and activity providers, and he made sure our outings were well planned, memorable and personalised to our individual interests. I cannot recommend Villa Malindi enough, and cannot wait to visit again.

A hidden gem, Saffron Gardens, is easily one of the best boutique spa hotels we've ever stayed at. The peace and calm hits you as you walk through the door, and the reception staff were lovely and welcoming. The pool area is stunning, the restaurant food was delicious, and it was lovely to meet chef Kelly and hear her story during our stay. Morning yoga with Jenn provided a great start to the day, and a massage and aloe treatment was a perfect way to end the day. The room interior is neutral bohemian chic, with a huge bed, his and hers sinks and a large shower. There was a lounge swing out the front of the property to relax in after a swim We extended our stay we loved it so much. Thank you Saffron Gardens

All the staff were very nice and discret. And arranged with whatever I needed during my stay. The property is basic but has everything you need to sleep and wash. The roof top is really comfortable with WiFi. The restaurant is there if you don’t want to go out and has a nice sunset. I tried the omelet and sausage in the morning it was very yummy. Depends on the price but if you get a good price, it will be a good deal.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location. The staff where pleasant and very helpful when they found out we where on honeymoon they upgraded us at no extra cost. And the food was very good I can't say enough about the staff. Excellent place to stay highly recommend

The location is so perfect,just off Naivas Oasis Mall on Makaburini Street. Saffron Garden is only a 10 minute walk away, nightlife is close by at Vintage Club and it’s just a short drive to Malindi Museum, Portuguese Church and Vasco da Gama Pillar.For best affordable local foods take a tuktuk at 100 bob to ' Meet and eat'hotel opposite the Malindi law courts. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were cleaned every morning,meals were available on request at an extra cost. The place feels safe, convenient and well located for exploring Malindi. I’d highly recommend Double Heart for anyone visiting Malindi and looking for comfort, great hospitality and easy access to attractions. I also learnt a few words in Italian "Benvenuti a double heart" which means welcome to double heart ❤️
