It is us again. We will keep coming back when we are visiting beautiful Kisumu. This time with our kids. Your pulse and blood pressure will drop, when you enter Lago Resort: The compound is big and safe with a playground, a beautiful garden with flowers, goats in a dedicated field, trees giving pleasant shadow and an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Enjoy the view with a cocktail in the garden and the kids playing around you. The view from the rooms (balconies on both sides og the rooms) is simply magnifique and unique. The resort has no pool, jacuzzi, and design furnitures (maybe the furnitures in the restaurant actually are!?), but it is clean, the staff is polite and welcoming, there is peace and quite, and you can buy affordable meals.

The breakfast is nothing special, just bread, eggs, a sausage and sweet potatoes. Not very well done, fruits not ripe enough. As I said, nothing special. The rooms are huge, even for a single room. The showers heat up really well, once you figure out which one is hot water 😅😅 there's plenty of water in the taps.

The food The food the food: I loved fresh indigenous cuisine even though western cuisines were as delicious as the local menu. The hospitality of staff : exceptional The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with Safe, fridge, office table, aircon, tv and gorgeous balcony. The compound is green and well kempt…lots of seating and work space WiFi was very fast and reliable (whenever it was there😂)

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Even arranged an electric kettle for us. The room was spaces and very basic as was the bathroom. We arrived and it was pouring down rain, which made the WiFi very spotty and mostly not working. it worked the next morning. Dinner was nice.
