The breakfast was amazing, I think in Europe it would be hard to find hotel with such breakfast as Asha offers. It was just amazing! Dinnig also was the best. We have been in every restaurant in Diani and can easily say that Asha has the best cuisine and prices in Diani. The garden was like a little paradise.

Everything is beautiful! Garden is so green, a lot of palms on the beach. The staff are very polite. The manager Pamela was so helpful in many things, she helped us to rent a motor bike with locals, and had organize a cake for our anniversary as a surprise.

Best what you can get in the area, fantastic choice of wines in the restaurant, good minibar in the room, a lot of sun beds, very nice pool. Staff happy to help, there are a lot of service personnel, never felt crowded or left without attention though the resort was fully booked. Very nice scenery and garden in the hotel, beach cottage is very nice and unusual to live in with great view of the ocean

Amkia Villas are extremely amazing value for money, super clean and bright and I really loved our stay. Everyone was very welcoming and flexible. The pool is also perfect size and everything else was also just perfect. I will definitely visit again!

We just came back from Mzima Beach, where we stayed for 9 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The place itself is beautiful, but what really made it special were the people. Everyone was so kind and truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and happy. Room service was just perfect — always on time, incredibly attentive, and everything was spotlessly clean. You could tell how much care and pride they put into every little detail. Coming back to a beautifully made room every day felt so comforting. Charles, the manager, was absolutely fantastic — always smiling, full of life, and spreading so much positive energy around. He really made the whole experience shine. My husband also had a deep tissue massage from Emely, and she was absolutely amazing. She really knows what she’s doing — professional, caring, and so skilled. He felt completely relaxed and renewed afterward. Mzima Beach isn’t just a beautiful place to stay — it’s a place filled with heart. The people there make all the difference. We left with so much gratitude and so many happy memories.

I can't thank the staff at the Maji enough for all of the ways they made my time with them so wonderful. Communication before and during my visit was excellent, especially when I had to deal with travel delays due to awful weather. They went out of their way to make my birthday a very special occasion. The large room was perfect, and I even enjoyed a relaxing soaking bath. Meals were served with excellent and attentive service, and the beach beds were made with care and comfort.

Diani Beach is a beautiful white-sand beach with lots of restaurants around, making it easy to get meals for lunch or dinner. The thing I did not like about Diani Beach was the number of sellers who were selling things and were a bit aggressive in doing so. There were so many of them; they did not leave us alone. They sold everything from bracelets to offering trips to the nearby Marine National Park.

Beautiful beach, great community.

Beautiful beach, great community. Good local shopping and markets. lots of cheap local taxis. All our meals were prepared by the staff and were delicious so no need to eat out. The staff also did the food shopping and were so accommodating,

Powdery white sand that is very easy to walk on.

Powdery white sand that is very easy to walk on. The reef about 500-600m offshore breaks the outer waves so inside the reef is moderately calm. Water shoes recommended due to sea urchins in some areas. A nice beach for walking, but you will be approached by vendors. A polite 'no' is usually sufficient. Several excellent places to eat along the stretch of beach where we stayed - Nomad's, Faulty's at the Flamboyant, Ali Barbour's Cave (reservation required), and Asha Boutique (Friday night beach buffet).

Diani beach is a great place to chill, relax, swim in warm ocean waters. Diani beach has a vibrant and eclectic nightlife , for those who want it. Getting around by tuk-tuk taxi is cheap and easy, the people are fab, But . . . don't go in May, or early June, it is very very rainy! December to March are best, Jan & Feb dryest by far. Enjoy.

Diani is a must see while visiting Kenya.

Diani is a must see while visiting Kenya. Just make sure you pick your dates well. We visited Diani in April which was the start of the raining season but it was hot. The dry season runs from August to December and I can only imagine how hot it can get. Many resorts don't have A/C but portable fans in rooms. It helps but the rooms are still hot. Bring insect repellent sprays as insects and mosquitoes are around. Plenty of activities to do. Wasani day trip is a must do, camel/horse rides along the beach, sunset in Congo river, glassboat rides, jet ski, kite surfing etc. Be ready to negotiate anything you buy as the locals have the tendency to overcharge foreigners. Also there is a small splash place for kids. It is not as big and elaborate as the big theme parks but it helps keep the kids busy and distracted.

Such a beautiful property with so much to explore! With its many pools, facilities and restaurants, this is the perfect place to stay if you want to be right on Diani beach. We spent majority of the mornings on the sunbeds by the beach which were so relaxing and had drinks going from the nearby bar. We had a maid come in every night to spray bug spray and turn down the curtains and bed, making it ready for us to sleep in which was lovely. Breakfast was delightful with many options and all hotel staff were extremely helpful.

I love the location—it is on Diani Beach. My apartment had a garden view, but I could still hear the sound of the sea. The sun lounger area has a view of the sea and has an option for sun or shade. I had a returning baboon guest, but eventually, I learnt they are clever and can open the door if the lock hasn't been done. The apartments are the best value on the seafront, especially if someone prefers to prepare meals.

Beautiful beachfront location. Small homely feel hotel. Right on a prime spot on Diani beach. 10 mins walk to a small area with plenty of restaurants bars and a well stocked supermarket. Breakfast is very adequate and well prepared to your order. We tried several meals in the restaurant and they were all amazing and good price. The staff and management make this hotel. It will be my go to in Kenya now .

It is off the main Diani Beach road, so it is quiet. It is a boutique type hotel, and the staff are helpful. The main suite on the top floor is spacious, and it has a balcony and great views of the area's topography. It includes a pool and bar downstairs and areas to sit either near to the bar or further away. The staff at the bar were particularly friendly.
