We really enjoyed the rotenburo and the whole atmosphere of the lodge. We had traditional soba from the region which was delicious. Really close to Kamikochi which is convenient for doing hikes around the area.

This hotel is a true gem: lovely staff, great onsen, super comfy room, nice food and perfect location. Staff helped us book the bus to Norikura-dake (that stops in front of the hotel) and arranged lovely food when we arrrived late. Thank you!

The place is run by a lovely lady, so helpful, kind and lovely. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The room was absolutely phenomenal, real Japanese style regimen with such comfortables mattresses. The place has an in house restaurant. Very good food at affordable prices, breakfast was also extremely tasty, probably the best Japanese breakfast we had at any hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

This was the best place we stayed in Japan. The King suite was the most beautiful space I’ve ever seen and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud.
