Having the house to ourselves. Huge house with dish washer, pots and pans and everything you’d need. Washer cum dryer was so helpful. Big plus point is laundry detergent was provided too! Owner was very friendly and helpful with recommendation of butadon. He was very patient explaining how to use the washer (which is so easy) He provided us with a huge bottle of barley tea in the fridge for our consumption

This is one of the best hotels, I've ever been to. You will feel free from everything and concentrate on yourself and your partner. moor water was also special and it collaborated very well with the Minimalism architecture. The main onsen feels like a pure ritual area, the ceiling and wall are very high and made with Hinoki woods, On the top, There is a small window that comforts the warm daylight into the main onsen. During the daytime, it goes down to the moor onsen. and it is brightened as amber light. I don't usually write a review. but I recommend this special place in Obihiro Tokachigawa. P.S. Obihiro is a Japanese city but architecturally looks more like a United States city. I don't know why. I am surprised with the food.... Rice itself is so good and most of the foods in Obihiro were great.

Beautiful onsen with excellent dinner and breakfast. We also had a couples massage which was also very good. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the Japanese-style room with private onsen was a trip highlight. Would come again in a heartbeat.

Kangetsuen is a 15-minute walk from Tokachigaoka Tenbodai Observatory and a 20-minute drive from Obihiro Station.
