The place is half an hour away from Kyoto Prefecture however, it is the most beautiful place to stay. Away from hustle bustle, amidst the mountains and amazing scenery. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who's travelling for leisure. Bamboo forest is 10 mins away by train. I lived the spa and relaxation as well which is included in the stay.

The room was very spacious and even had a sauna. The private bath was very nice, and also the public ones were beautiful. We really loved the service too, we had a very nice service by Serika-san who we also loved talking to. Really appreciated the shuttle bus service.

We reached Takao station by bus, and there was someone there from the hotel waiting for us to take us by shuttle to the ryokan. The ryokan itself located in a beautiful location near the river and Jinkoji temple. The area itself is a hidden gem, serene and far from the crowds of Kyoto. The service was amazing, the food, the room and the view from the outdoor bathtub.
