Hotel is well situated close to Hakodate fish market. Room was of generous proportions with plenty of storage space. Kitchen was an added bonus. Hotel had no restaurant so breakfast was either delivered to your room or you had a breakfast voucher which could be redeemed at one of the many restaurants in the fish market. We enjoyed this very much, meaning you could try a different style of food each day. The delivered breakfast was either a set japanese or western style. Staff was friendly and very helpful, despite the language barrier. However they used a portable translation device so there was no problem whatsoever. There are also laundry facilities in the hotel, which is useful.

Ideally placed, close to the station, inside the morning market and in walking distance from pretty much everything in Hakodate. The rooms are pretty spacious and well equipped, including a microwave and a washing machine. The top level public bath is a real plus, with a gorgeous view.

Excellent hotel for a reasonable price, including all you need. The onsen is of high quality and the value is superb. Can highly recommend. This was in low season so maybe prices are different when it’s busy but this was one of the best hotel experiences in Japan in 8 years.

The room was much nicer than in the description. It was spacious and had comfortable big bunk beds. Very clean, good heating. Showers not far away. Very friendly young receptionist who checked us in and gave us tips where to go. We could also store our luggage there as we arrived at 11am. Not so far from a tram stop and right by the brick warehouses and in walking distance to the cable car. We really liked the place.
