The accommodation was very pleasant and comfortable. It was a bit tricky to find at first (Google maps had some trouble locating it), but once you look around carefully, there are signs pointing the way. The room itself was very cozy and well-equipped – everything we needed was there and worked perfectly.

It was a wonderful place, the rooms were SO nice. I have never slept this comfortable, the futons were amazing. The house itself had the old Japanese feel to it.

Fantastic heating unit they have, so comfortable! It was hitting negative 2 degrees Celsius in mid November. We enjoyed the location so much and frequented the Shirakawago no Yu (onsen), Nono Izakaya, Tenkara Yakiniku as recommended by host. Love it so much and I definitely will book the whole place next time together with my family. Love it 😍.

Clean and modern facility. Owner was clear and friendly. It is a Guest Inn, aka a Hostel, so expect accordingly. I feel it is a bit unfair that other reviews complain about gaps to a Hotel service, it is not a Hotel. Rooms are private but bathrooms and kitchen are shared. Showers were great and super clean. The kitchen area was well equipped and there were a few items for sale like instant noodles, chips and water. As it is not located in Shirakawa-go (where you go sightseeing as a tourist) the Inn offers a shuttle to Shirakawa-Go bus stop. This was really good! Without big luggage you could also walk there in 25 minutes.
