Shinkamigoto is a beautiful island, there is a local bus...

Shinkamigoto is a beautiful island, there is a local bus service to various parts of the island, however this is hourly at best. I went to visit Christian heritage listed churches so using buses would have been out of the question. I tried to hire an E Bike but as I didn't have a local sim card for my phone, I couldn't hire one. I found a motor scooter rental place that would rent me a scooter. This turned out to be a life saver as I was able to visit most of the sites that I wanted to visit and see parts of the Goto Islands that I would not have seen had I used a bus. In short, the Goto islands are best visited with your own means of transport, or a rental.
