Great location, 10min walking to the bamboo forest and temple. Get there early, this makes a big difference in crowd sizes in these very touristic places. Go further north for quieter and just as beautiful temples / areas. Helpful host and super useful parking space in kyoto. Plenty of space in the house for a family.

The breakfat was excellent and the location was unmatched. Very convenient if you want to be near arashiyama but its not close to central kyoto so places like uji, nara, gion will be a challenge to get to and especially to return. Cab fares back will be expensive. But if you want to spend a few days at the arashiyama area this is absolutely worth it. The garden, the bedding, everything was clean and well maintained.

The hotel, the staff and the location were all 10/10 We booked it at a great price point and were super happy with the choice. The hotel is located in a wonderful area with a lot of shops, not so far away from the most crowded locations. The room was very spacious, comfortable and came with a washing machine. It was cleaned daily and we really enjoyed. We didn't try the breakkie, so I cannot comment on that. Would repeat stay and recommend it.

The location is very good, a few minutes away from the metro. The lobby and its design are nice and spacious. The free refreshments are very nice. The employees are very sweet and polite and also meticulous. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is very nice that they provide free bicycle service. Especially the toilet is very nice :) It definitely provides a very luxurious service for its price. Thank you for everything.

The property was clean and tastefully furnished, and located within a cute local housing area (but still convenient enough to travel to the key attractions). Service was also great with friendly and helpful staff. To top it off, the property houses a great Thai restaurant which serves a good variety of authentic Thai lunch/dinner options. Special mention that the restaurant was kind enough to help me modify their food to cater to my vegetarian/meat-free preference.

The location was ideal for sightseeing, and if we could have stayed longer we would. The proximity to Arashiyama was ideal with kids. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The pictures of the property are very accurate and our stay exceeded our expectations.
