The staff and management were very warm and accommodating. The location was exceptional. The family onsen was a delightful surprise. The view of Kinko bay is unmatched. And we saw the plume from our room!

Marvellous view of the city, sea, vulcan from the room. Fantastic breakfast in food quantity and quality, we ate outside on the patio of the breakfast restaurant. A lot of warm dishes, a lot of choice and also finest French patisserie. Fantastic onsen in the hotel. Fantastic nature and forest around the hotel. Very quiet at night. We used the bus coach to reach the city from the hotel, we also walked during the day through the pedestrian walk in the marvellous forest. To reach the entrance of the walk from the hotel, just follow the indication "Promenade" from the hotel: it is super easy: get out of the main entrance of the hotel, walk to the left, walk 100mt up to the kiosks selling tourist stuff, here follow indication "Promenade", it is other 70mt , and then take the path going down, it is not a road, it is very easy and very wide trail.

Perfect position in Tenmonkan, a few steps away from the tram stop and the bus to/from the airport. Next to all restaurants and shops and there’s a few convenience stores around. The check-in process is fun and easy. There’s always staff available behind the door, that is always quick to react and very helpful. The room was quite big and comfortable (for 1 person). Clean and comfortable. The mattress is great too and the hotel in general very quiet, so perfect for a good sleep. There’s even a “steam ironing” wardrobe in the room, that irons your clothes!!!! Amazing! I would come back when in Kagoshima!

I really liked to have stayed there.

I really liked to have stayed there. Lovely night view from my room and onsen bath. The room, twin bed room, was more than ample for my solo stay. The room was clean and staff were very helpful. I used ferry to get to Kagoshima city, which is a short ride from Sakurajima and the service is great, however if you want to depart the island before 6am there is only one every hour.
