The best hotel I have ever been to. Japanese hotels are always next level compared to ours in Europe, but this one was simply amazing. The only thing that might seem strange at first is the breakfast, not everything there was delicious. But that's my personal preference, so I didn't lower the ratings for that.

It was a spacious apartment as it is the ground floor of an entire house in a nice little neighborhood. Parking was directly in front of the house. The interior felt high quality. It has a good location between the hot springs and Mount Fuji.

Toyoko inn Gotemba Ekimae is a lovely budget business hotel located just outside the Gotemba station . The quaint hotel provides compact rooms with a working table and a small bathroom. The breakfast spread is not elaborate but provides for a sufficient morning meal . There is a coffee maker in the lobby where u can have coffee any time . There is ice vending machine and a microwave for use in the lobby . Also located are coin operated washing machines . There are free shuttle buses available for the Gotemba outlets which makes it convincing for those using this as a base fo shopping . Being located outside the station , all public transport is available at a 100 distance . Buses towards Kawaguchiko and Hakone run frequently from here It is a clean and well kept hotel with friendly staff I would surely recommend this place .

The breakfast was delicious. The staff and Front Desk were very helpful. They Went out their way to call For order Food for dinner for us because We arrived late in the hotel. The View of Mt. Fuji from our room was Magnificent. This is our 2nd time of stay and Will definitely come back. Also, It’s near to Gotemba Premium outlet. Just 1.3km.

I'm not sure how it compares to Gotemba, but access from the...

I'm not sure how it compares to Gotemba, but access from the highway has improved dramatically, so I'm worried that people will end up spending less time there. If you stay with a purpose, I think there are significant financial and time benefits. In the past, during summer vacation, it often took longer to get from Gotemba to Lake Yamanaka than it did from Tokyo to Gotemba. Fujioyama Roadside Station is also well-equipped, but the bakery next to the adjacent Rural Revitalization Center is particularly appealing. I don't really want to tell you about it, but they have outlet products, so I always stop by.
