A simple cabin with everything provided. Shino is helpful, and knowledgeable on Kumano Kodo trekking. She provide us insightful information, and it did help alot. Her café is located nearby bus stop which is very convenient for us to catch the bus right after the breakfast. Not forget to mention about the meal provided, yummy and delicious. Shino also help us arrange for daily luggage transfer, and very responsive on any issues arising. Kudos to Shino.

The host is really nice and helpfull. I recived a dinner I did not even know it is included and felt like she really cares for her guests. I was just one night here as a break on Kumano Kodo hike so for this is perfect. Maybe a bit to expensive for a solo traveler and my room had 3 beds but for a group it's like jackpot.

Location of accommodation is excellent, not far from the Kumano Kodo trail and also close to the supermarket in Chikatsuyu. We were hosted by an elderly lady and the only guests staying during the night. It is a simple Japanese style room with futon which is spacious and super comfortable. She welcomed us with some mikan which we really appreciated. Dinner is delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast was surprisingly western style with good coffee (very much appreciated along the trekking trail).

The Cottage is just near the restaurants, bakery and supermarket. It has amazing views of the rice fields and mountains. The typical japanese style livingroom is really cozy. There are a lot of mosquitos everywhere in the village (it is normal if you are sorrounded by nature). Fortunately, the place was equipped with mosquito nets.

We stayed here on the Kumano kodo trek. The location is less than a km from the path so it's easy to find. It was exceptional with lots of touches that made it really comfortable after a day of hiking. The deck is great for an afternoon in the sun. Place was very clean, with shampoo, towels and even snacks provided. We almost didn't want to leave. The owner was available via message to help with anything.

Very convenient location for accessing a supermarket, the bus stop, a restaurant, in an otherwise rather remote location. The beds were comfortable and the space was very clean and chic. The free snacks and drinks were a nice touch which I really appreciated. There's a washer and dryer for use as well, which was helpful.
