The house is absolutely spectacular and I recommend brining food and cooking dinner/breakfast there. It was extremely peaceful and great for big groups/families. The host was extremely friendly and checked in on us.

Amazing place to stay if you are doing the Kumano Kodo trail. Clean, simple, has everything you need and the staff is lovely! very Japanese style and cool place full of music instruments. They gave me a delicious dinner for free and the food was very good. Was just the experience I was looking for in this path.

I loved the rooms and the food prepared was also great. The staff despite the language barrier was very nice and helpful as she maintained the place and entertained us. The room was very comfortable and the facilities great especially after a long trek. It is near the supermarket but out of the way from the rest of the town but i guess it wouldn't matter much if you're there doing the Kumano Kodo. It really feels like going to stay at someone home, as there are only two rooms which is just so wonderful.

Brand new house, with all the equipments that you would want and more. The house was very clean and relaxing. Had my best night of sleep in a while! Some food was offered (e.g rice, noodles, pata etc) Check-in was super efficient. Bus is 1min away so it is super convenient to go to a town closer to Yunomine and start your hike.
