Not a great deal to do or see in Oita.
Not a great deal to do or see in Oita. The castle ruins holds some interest. A very friendly man in a temporary office in the car park helpfully explained more about the castle and it's moats. Could use Oita as a base for visiting Beppu if you can't get accommodation there By train it's only 280 yen and 12 minutes away.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom

When I returned to the hotel, I could not enter the room and understood the situation, but the hotel staff smiled and held the room for me and gave me the left luggage. The room was large with good facilities and comfortable bed. The staff were excellent. Binus- underground parking with elevator straight into hotel lobby.
