We had a delightful stay at Osugi-ya. The breakfast, dinner and tour were all incredible. You can tell that so much thought and heart went into the meals and the inn itself. The inn is accessible by bus from Kamo station, and we had zero issues getting to the inn via public transport. The staff were so helpful, and were so knowledgeable about tea. We came to Wazuka to learn more about tea and also to escape the hustle and bustle of Kyoto City. This inn absolutely did not disappoint. We hope to come back here again! We left the inn and Wazuka with many bags of tea and plenty of core memories 🥹

We absolutely fell in love with the Kizuna Guesthouse! The house is beautiful, so comfortable and cozy. The surroundings are stunning and peaceful, and above all, what a wonderful welcome! Yukie and Kevin were amazing hosts. They welcomed us so warmly and gave us lots of great advice, there is so much to see and do in the area. It was more than just a guesthouse, it was a true immersion in Japanese culture, thanks to everything that Yukie and Kevin shared with us. And last but not least, the breakfast prepared by Yukie was absolutely delicious! We stayed there with our two children and would have loved to stay longer, as we felt so at home. One thing is certain: if we’re lucky enough to return to Japan one day, we’ll definitely come back to the Kizuna Guesthouse!

Everything was fabulous from right outside the hotel once we had arrive. Staffs were all very friendly , attentive and pro active . Daily housekeeping was great and throughout .Great stay and my boy truly enjoy his stay . Highly recommended hotel to stay.

We had a little problem during check in as the room was not ready and they couldn’t let us know at what time it would be. In the end we got the room 1 hour later than check in time however the manager went above and beyond to compensate us for it. He was very kind and understanding, and the staff working there too, everyone was very lovely and kind! The room is amazing!!!!! The bathtub in the balcony is big and the room is very big and clean, the facilities are wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay here, we would love to come back to this hotel in a future travel to Japan. I would recommend anyone to skip 1-2 days in Osaka or Kyoto and book this hotel instead of the day trip to Nara. We really appreciated the break from the big cities to relax in this amazing hotel in Nara. The restaurant is also to die for! Everything was delicious!! We would like to thank you all the staff, specially the manager and the chef, for our amazing stay here. Thank you ♥️

Large room, free laundry available and bathroom has a feature that can be utilitised to airdry your clothing. Netflix available on the TV provided. So nice, I genuinely wish I lived here. About a 20 minute walk from the hotel to Nara Park.
