I had an amazing stay at Malama Monstera! The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and the hosts were wonderful and accommodating—they even took me out for a delicious local dinner. I chose this location for its close proximity to Ohara Onjuku Golf Club, which is just a short drive or walk away. It’s also conveniently located near the beautiful beaches of Ohara and Onjuku, yet still offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The accommodation is well-equipped, making it perfect for families, whether you’re looking to relax, unwind, or enjoy a quiet BBQ. Highly recommend!

The place is amazing in a beautiful Japanese style building on a mountain slope. We arrived with a rented car but I think it's maybe 20-30 minutes to the nearest train station by walk. I heard the train ride there is incredible as well in sakura time but didn't have time to try it. The host family lives nextdoor, but you have a big house and yard all for yourself with all the privacy. There is a cozy fireplace, kitchen with all the amenities, TV and also an outdoor bath tube which was one of the best things. Also the host can rent you a tuktuk which was a special and unforgettable experience to drive in the countryside. We were lucky to visit by the best sakura time and the weather was also good. I also recommend trying the mochi making experience with the host family. You can also have a kotatsu outside for the evening. I'm pretty sure if you decide to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Isumi does not have a lot of tourist spot. But it is great for a weekend getaway. If you apricate the quiet nature, it is one of the best place around Chiba. There are a lot of place with a great ocean view. It is relaxing and therapeutic in a way. If you are interest in surfing there are Many surfing beaches, around the area.

The location is fantastic.

The location is fantastic. I stayed with my daughter and she was delighted. I was a bit wary of the toilets and showers, but they were very clean and comfortable. There's no plumbing in the room, so you'll have to share the outdoor faucets for brushing your teeth and washing your hands. Since the toilet and shower are both outside, I recommend bringing something easy to wear like sandals. Hand washing isn't available in the room, so sanitizing wipes are a must. The location is fantastic. The ocean is right in front of the house, and at night, for some reason, there were a huge number of colorful lights floating in the water, flashing red, green, blue, and yellow—it was beautiful. However, there are a lot of vegetation, so the lights and fireworks can be quite enticing at night. There's only one toilet, shower, and faucet, so during peak season, each container family will likely have to fight over them. In fact, there was a long wait for the toilet in the morning, as it was being used by other container house guests.
