Friendliness of the staff is amazing !!! They make everything to make your stay comfortable, and even more. The place is very new and very comfortable. The common spaces are super-welcoming, everything we could need is available.

Thanks so much for the stay! I had one day stay and this Minshuku is so beautiful in the mountains. The owner offers pickup service from station and helped me a lot and a hot pot style dinner gave me a family dinner vibe~ It was a pity that I had some work stuff to focus on during stay so I did not make it to visit the farms and have some chill, but this farm stay is absolutely a must in Tokushima mountains.

The interior's clean and beautiful, I was so impressed that despite having an extremely long journey to get to Mima City, I still found myself run around the place to take photos. In addition to that, the staff here were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped me with everything, from arranging and communicating with the taxi driver, providing breakfast even when I check out early, giving advices about places that I want to visit to helping me with the booking of new flight ticket when my flight got cancelled out of nowhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Very good buffet, clean and nice persons

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a room with beautiful view to green mountains it was very nice. The room had big and comfortable bed. We could leave the window opened for the night so fresh forest air come in. The bathroom and the toilet were well equipped and luxury. I highly recommend to reserve for a dinner, it was very delicious and contained wide range of fresh Japanese ingredients. The breakfast was also fine. The onsen is located at a peaceful place in the forest looking to a spring and a small waterfall. We reserved a private bath, it was great too. It was a pleasant stay 😊

We had the absolutely best time at Megumi’s beautiful house! Everything is thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean! The beds were super comfy! And Megumi is the best host you can imagine: She is such a nice person and has great tips for restaurants, local attractions (the camo tree is a must see!), Onsen and knows the area in and out. The location is a great base to visit the Ilya valley but even Higashimiyoshi and its rural surroundings are worth to explore. We would have loved to stay longer and were really sad to leave! After a busy week exploring Japan’s major cities like Tokyo and Kyoto, my father, uncle, and I were looking for a quieter, more authentic experience—and this beautiful traditional guesthouse in Miyoshi, Shikoku, turned out to be the perfect choice. The house is a charming two-bedroom traditional Japanese home with tatami rooms that truly capture the spirit of old Japan. I’ve stayed in similar homes before and always loved their unique atmosphere, but for my father and uncle, who were visiting Japan for the first time, it was both a fascinating and fun experience. Since we’re a tall family, adapting to the lower door frames, smaller room heights, and the cozy, compact design of the house added an extra layer of adventure. It was a great way to experience firsthand how people lived in the past and to appreciate the traditions and culture behind this style of living. The house itself was very clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The small garden added a peaceful touch, and the kitchen made preparing meals easy whenever we didn’t feel like eating out. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to answer our messages and provide anything we asked for. Miyoshi is a quiet town, but it has everything necessary for a convenient stay—two large supermarkets, several restaurants, and even a Lawson convenience store just around the corner. I highly recommend renting a car to explore the surrounding area, as Shikoku’s natural beauty—with its mountains, rivers, valleys, and temples—is best experienced at your own pace. In the end, what makes this house truly special is its calm atmosphere. It’s not a place filled with distractions, but rather a peaceful and comfortable space waiting to be filled with life, laughter, and meaningful memories. Whether you visit with friends or family, this guesthouse offers the perfect setting to slow down, reconnect, and experience a more authentic and heartfelt side of Japan.
