The location just beside to the train station. Easy to check in & the staffs are very polite. Car park provided by hotel with 800yen per night. We had a great view from our room of Mt. Fuji. Furthermore the breakfast was great as well

I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen.

I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen. The fare is ¥5900 one way and travel time is nearly an hour. I stayed at Toyoko Inn which is 150 meters from the Shin Fuji station. There are lots of car rentals in the area but I was not able to get one as they only accept advance booking from their website. It took me 2 hours getting to and from the foot of Mt. Fuji, by bus and a 15 minute walk in the village to reach my destinations. Roads are quite narrow but they are common in Japan. Like most countryside places in Japan, Fuji is relatively clean, rich in nature, and lots of places to explore. My advice if you want to visit Fuji: 1. Travel by Shinkansen going to and from Fuji. 2. Rent a car so you can visit most of the attractions in and around Mt. Fuji. 3. Spend at leat 3-4 days in the area. 4. Bring cash with you always as most establishments are cash based. 5. Download Papago app on your phone so you can translate Japanese images, signs, etc if you're having difficulty understanding the language. That's it and enjoy your trip to Mt. Fuji.

I was on the 7th floor and had an amazing view of Mt Fuji out my window. The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming. A more traditional Japanese experience than staying in a city hotel. A traditional Japanese breakfast was included. I highly recommend this hotel as a base to explore the area. The bus stop with regular buses to the train stations is right out the front of the hotel. It is great value for money and an authentic local experience.

Fantastic location very close to the train station and restaurants at the train station. The room was neat and tidy with a view of Mt. Fuji. The size was a little more than the average hotel room size in Japan with great value for the facilities.
