Location was excellent, a short walk from the station and right beside a convenience store. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check in on the tablet was quick and easy since I had filled out the online form beforehand. The shared shower room was well equipped and clean. We were able to leave our luggage at the other location, Why Kumano Hostel, opposite the station after we checked out. Excellent value.

The buffet was awesome! So many options to choose from. Will certainly consider coming back again. The onsens were fantastic. There is an indoor one and two outdoor onsens (one with shelter and milky water; while the other open-air with great view of the bay)

In my opinion the bad recommendations are not justified. One of the best price-performance ratio we had in wakayama. The rooms are spacious, everything was clean and the view is amazing.

We stayed at this hotel for one night during our trip to Nachi Falls and were very pleased! Yes, the hotel and rooms may seem a little outdated, but the care from the owner who greeted us and the wonderful location of the hotel itself smooth out all these minuses! A nice room with two beds and everything you need: a refrigerator, sockets near the bed, a beautiful view of the sea from our windows, the bathroom has everything you need (we also saw that on the first floor you can take consumables, such as disposable toothbrushes and other small things)

The host was really warm and friendly. He offered us his homemade blueberry jam, homegrown blueberries and persimmons. He even went out of the way to fetch us to and fro Kii-Katsuura station. The facilities in the cottage are modern and clean. Not to forget, the breahtaking view of the mountains from the balcony. 10/10 would recommend this.
