We stayed in the cottage 5 minutes away, it had everything we needed and the view was beautiful. The staff were excellent, helpful hosts. There was a washing machine and somewhere to hang the clothes with a fan to dry them, a bathtub big enough for two as well as a kitchen. We highly recommend the menu at Takahira Base, super healthy and delicious.

We had a Japanese style room facing the river. The hotel is conveniently located next to a bridge which leads into the centre of Anbo. The accommodation has laundry and drying facilities suitable for a hiker and a public bathing room. Would stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Yakushima. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for exploring the island. The house itself was spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly and offering helpful advice for enjoying Yakushima to the fullest. This was truly a perfect experience — 10/10. It was a great pleasure to stay at the place. The barbecue option is a find! It made our stay unforgettable. The beds were very comfortable, house is spotless, kitchen is functional.
