The Petra Moon Luxury Hotel is conveniently located opposite of the main entrance to Petra. It has everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. The rooms a nice, well equipped, came with a free minibar, and are absolutely clean. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful doing their best to help you to a great stay - the Concierge even had a gift for my ten year old son. The breakfast was plenty and tasty. The hotel also has a free underground parking. I cannot comment on the Spa facilities and the rooftop pool - due to the few guests these were not open. What is sad to see is that the hotel like all the others are lacking guests during high season due to the Gaza war. Jordan felt absolutely safe and it is the perfect time to visit sites like Petra which are otherwise certainly quite crowded.

The staff was extremely welcoming. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We loved the decoration of the hotel which makes it very personal. The breakfast was small but had all you needed, sweet and savory, even Nutella. We had a car and it was a short drive to Petra. There is a free parking on site.

We spent 2 nights at Infinity Lodge and loved every minute of it. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The view was amazing, the accommodation was perfectly clean, spacious, airy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and they also offer lunch, dinner and a snack to take to Petra during the tour. We thought this was very thoughtful on the hotel's part to make our experience even better. While I cannot review the Icon Petra Hotel as we were offered an upgrade to its 4-star sister property, the Petra Moon Hotel, my overall experience was absolutely positive. The hotel is just a two-minute walk from the entrance to the Petra archaeological site. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel features a rooftop pool—which is quite rare in Petra—from which you can enjoy a view of the enchanting city. We also had dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, and it was an exceptional meal, both in terms of atmosphere and food quality. The only regret is seeing Petra with so few tourists, which is heartbreaking considering the great spirit and warm hospitality of the amazing Jordanian people.

Don’t forget to go to the cave restaurant which is just before the entrance of Petra visit center , an amazing cave

This is a must visit place.

This is a must visit place. The natural beauty, Petra and rest of the nabatean ruins are out of the world. trek to the monastery is worth the effort. It will be uncomfortable in summer You need to spend at least two days. Petra at night is the most amazing experience. The views from Petra to wadi Rum is spectacular. Absolutely on everyone’s bucket list Food, Jordanian people and hospitality is wonderful. It is a safe place!!!

Fantastic staff, friendly and welcoming, happy to offer u an upgrade if possible, food was lovely, views were epic, we stayed in dome with the en suite bathroom, it was just Great..we were sad to stay just one night and wish we could stay longer. It was only a short drive to Petra . Would definitely recommend.

Very interesting place. The Petra complex is unfergottable. We found there some very good restaurants. Examples: My Mom's Recipe Restaurant, Palm Court Restaurant & Cafe, Old Street Cafe & Restaurant.

Petra is always a magical place in your imagination.

Petra is always a magical place in your imagination. However it does not compare to the real thing! No matter how vivid your imagination! You need at least two whole days if not three to really enjoy the sights of Petra. We stayed a short distance away from the visitor center closer to the town centre where there are lovely restaurants and a more local vibe. It's better to take it easier and absorb the local culture and ancient history.

Petra Great place to visit. 2 days stay would be right. Petra by Night show is a complete waste of time and money. Avoid doing this. 17 JOD per person. There is actually no proper show. Lasted only 30 minutes.

Very friendly welcome from Mahmoud and his colleague. Mahmoud himself is very helpful and will give you information about your trip to Petra and he will quickly sort any issues you may have. The hotel is quite new ( opened one year ago) and is modern but with Jordan/Petra links with a very bright, welcoming foyer with relaxed seating if you wish to use. It is clean and well-maintained. The hotel is also very close to restaurants and other amenities in Wadi Musa.

Lovely small and quiet hotel just a 10-15 min walk from the entrance to Petra. Lots of shops and restaurants within a 2 minute walk of the hotel and the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. This was one of the cheaper hotels we booked during our stay in Jordan and the staff were so kind and helpful and there were lots of extras in the room we didn’t expect which made it even better especially after a long drive.

The tents are amazing, and a great change from staying in hotels. Ideal spot from which to explore Petra and being only a 10 minute drive from Wadi Musa from which you can explore Petra. Only comment is that there are a lot of stray dogs and wolves so at night they can be noisy and keep you awake, but it was worth that for the amazing views from the tent/room. Recommend if doing Petra

- perfect location, right at the entrance of Petea visitor center. It is a huuuge advantage, considering that many hotels are up a hill. After a walk to Petra, the closeness of the hotel was a saviour of the day :D - great breakfast, awesome variety of choices, freshly made eggs and pancakes - staff is very polite and nice at the reception and, in the restaurant too - room is comfy
