Petra Castle is an excellent hotel. The rooms are large and the service is excellent. It's located just outside Petra. By car it's only a few minutes away from the city center. The breakfast is a choice of both Jordanian and continental. The same counts for dinner: very good and a variety of Jordanian and 'western' dishes. The staff is excellent: friendly and offers great service. The Jordanian hospitality!

Ayman and his familly were all very welcoming and helpfull. They prepared dinner for us and helped us with all we need. The flat is large, so it can easily accomodate 6 people. We stayed with to kids and they had plenty of space to run around. There is a small bakery next door. Petra visitor centre or the back gate are 10 minutes away by car. Car can be parked in front of the flat.

We were a group of 12 Erasmus students from Spain and they did our check-in before the hours arranged because they have the rooms ready before we arrive, then when we return our first day in Petra, they receive us with some tea, offering their fridge and kitchen as it was ours and making us feel as home, I was chatting with the owners for half hour and I spent a really good time. If you want you can pay extra for dinner, breakfast and lunch, the chef is one of the owners and he made me pasta and was really good. The second day again we came back to the hotel after long walk and they gave us tea again, let us eat in the terrace with a great kindness I do not find in another place. They are really nice people, you have to definitely book an accomodation here if you want to visit Petra and stay in Wadi Musa. Really cheap option to stay and really worthy.

the space is very comfortable and if you have a car the location is super convenient as out of town but still close to Petra and Wadi Musa. The food is not included in the price but highly recommended: breakfast in the room was good, but for dinner we got invited into the host's home and they had cooked a proper feast for us, lots of different local food and everything was so tasty
