I’ve been before over 35yrs ago, it’s kept its authentic theme of live music and private comfortable rooms on the beach. The property is very well kept. It’s located a short walking distance from a shopping area where resort guests can easily access food and clothing items, souvenirs and also banking services and a pharmacy. Staff is available to assist with crossing the busy road. There’s an on-site gift shop. Complimentary breakfast is available and served on the beach. Lunch and dinner are also available on the beach. Staff are friendly and accomodating. There’s an outdoor pool, jacuzzi and beach bar. Lounge chairs and beach towels are provided. Tours and water sports can be arranged through the front desk. The resort is located on the beach where additional hotel restaurants and bars are also along the glorious 7 mile beach.

The cabins were super cute with a rustic beach vibe and amazing value for the price. The beds were pretty comfy and the outside bathroom was clean and easy to access. Towels were provided (both for the shower and for the beach) which was super helpful. The absolute best thing was the location as we couldn't be closer to the water - it was literally a 60 second walk away! There are loads of restaurants on seven mile beach so you'll be spoiled for choice for restaurants. The staff, especially Mauvette, at Firefly were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and simply lovely people! I recommend booking activities via Mauvette at the front desk - we had a great time helmet diving with Curtis & Dennis, and Fritz the taxi driver was one of our favourite people in Jamaica! Thank you for making our holiday so incredible :)

Everything was great, the location was the best, the staff were helpful, charming and attentive. What can I say it's right on the beach and so whichever unit you rent the beach is just steps away. There is a nice garden at the facility and they work hard to maintain it. It was beautiful. The mangrove tree is just at the beach with shade as cool if you didn't want to be in the sun. The restaurant had good food and very reasonable prices. $2.00 USD for Red Stripe during the day very cold and good. Our time there was too short and would definitely recommend it and would come back there if we could. Our room was clean, neat and working. Nothing bad here just a great place to stay. We actually stayed an extra day because it was so nice there.

The best part of this property is the amazing staff and beach plus the shade with trees on the beach. The plantings throughout are very pretty. The restaurant and service are excellent. Most guests have been coming here for twenty plus years — a sure sign of how devoted people are to the place. And the guests are all friendly and considerate. It’s a peaceful, low-key resort. Twice a week there is live music with fantastic musicians that you can listen and dance to during dinner. It’s a lot of fun. Merylyn, one of the massage therapists on the property, is kind and gave me the best massage of my life. You can bring your own food and drink on the beach, but they also have drink and food service. You can also bring floaters for the water and people often leave theirs at the conclusion of their stay so there’s a communal pile you can borrow from.
