Aptly named, you would be very hard pressed to find a better view from a hotel anywhere. Whether from our balcony, the restaurant, the terraces, the heated infinity pool, the hot tubs, the view was exceptional and spell-binding. We enjoyed the check out time of 12.00noon and the ability to use the facilities until 6.00pm. The breakfast offered a vast choice of continental options and we enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant.

All good, amazing location and staff are all very attentive. Rooms and all the building are very clean, service was great, we felt very well looked after. The food is extremely good at the bistrot, both at breakfast and at lunch/dinner where locals also seem to go. The reserved garden spot by the lake is a very nice treat also.

Great little traditional town Very friendly people Good food in the town but book ahead we tried Pizzeria Almici ridiculous size pizza lovely to be fair we didn’t try the other eateries in Zone but had great hosts at the central bar Ristorante Maneggio Val Tress well worth a visit rural menu. You definitely need a car, some of the roads are hairy/ exciting Places close typically 2 - 5 pm couple of really nice artisan shops great bread and cakes as well as the household essentials.

Absolutely awesome for relaxation. I highly recommend Agriturismo Casarai which is professionally managed by Fabrizio, a very polite and helpful person. Grazie Fabrizio for making our stay on Lago d’Iseo and in Zone an unforgettable one.

Zone is a mountain village over the Iseo Lake.

Zone is a mountain village over the Iseo Lake. It is famous for the pyramids, that are worth a walk and many pictures. It is also a good starting point for hiking and cycling, as well as for visiting the lake and the Camonica Valley which offers a lot of natural, not too crowded places as well as museums, paleolithic and archeological sites and beautiful churches. The village offers few restaurants, but it is mainly a mountain village, quiet. It was one of the accesses to teh Camonica Valey in the ancient times, before the street along the lake was escavated.

A quiet area surrounded by greenery, ideal for picnics. The view down to the lake is spectacular, and even better if you come by motorbike...we couldn't this time because it was the whole family, but next time, just my husband and I, we'll be back on two wheels.

Zone is located 15 minutes above Marone on Lake Iseo and is in a very scenic area. Hiking, the rock pyramids in Zone, and the rock carving park at Capo di Ponte in Val Camonica (a UNESCO World Heritage Site!), 45 minutes away, are highly recommended. Iseo itself, on the lake of the same name, is also very beautiful, as is the large Franciacorta wine region (famous for its sparkling wines made using the traditional method!).

The hotel is perfectly located, and easy to reach with the buses that go from the train station to Zone. The hosts are very kind, easy to chat with, and make sure the stay is as pleasing as possible. The village is a great starting point for hikes, overlooking the whole lake, and has a great atmosphere, perfect to spend some time relaxing far from busy cities. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and will make sure to go there if I'm around!
