Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro. It’s a must-try experience—the pizza is delicious, authentic, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Where we ate: Most of the time, we enjoyed a mix—some meals at home, plenty of pizza at Pizza al Metro, lunches and snacks while out on the boat, and groceries from Conad when we wanted something simple. Getting around: Getting around Vico Equense is very easy—if you have a car. The roads are manageable, parking is available with some planning, and driving makes it simple to explore the surrounding towns and coast. Without a car, moving around could be more challenging. Fun activities for groups of friends: Visiting Positano – an absolute must for its iconic views, boutique shops, and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring Pompeii – a fascinating and powerful experience, especially with a good guide. Renting a boat – one of the highlights, giving us the freedom to enjoy the coastline, swim in hidden spots, and see the Amalfi Coast from the sea. Overall, Vico Equense was a perfect base for both relaxation and adventure—amazing food, convenient location, and plenty of activities for groups of friends.Guest review byDumitrița - 10.0
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento.
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento. Because of that, traffic is quite busy. We highly recommend taking the train, it is only 15 minutes to Sorrento and about 30 minutes to Pompeii. During our stay they had a street food festival which was quite unique and unexpectedly adding to the charm. All restaurants serve wonderful food! Take a walk around town to visit the many beautiful churches, spectacular ocean views, playground for kids, and many shops. The only disadvantage is the longer walk/lots of stairs to get to the beaches and the expense of renting a sun chair and umbrella. Although we joined lots of other tourists, Vico Equense was 'quiet' compared to Sorrento. We loved it!Guest review byMatthewUnited States - 8.0

It’s beautiful, quiet, good bars and restaurants but if you aren’t fully mobile, hard to navigate. The cliffs and hills make for a spectacular setting but you have to undertake steep walks to get around. If you have a car this is no issue. If you don’t (which we didn’t), be prepared to expend some calories. Time your walks too as it’s easy to overheat if you try it during midday. It’s the perfect blend of being quiet without being dead. Sorrento is chockablock full of braindead tourists, as is Capri, so Vico Equense is a far superior place to stay as you easily get to Sorrento and everywhere else on the train. Train is cheap and as simple to use as possible. Just one line, no need to buy a ticket just tap in with your card. And it’s peanuts too.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Vick Equense is beautiful.
Vick Equense is beautiful. You can catch the train from Napoli to here. All of the local shops are walking distance or you can rent a moped to get around. There is a beach which is accessible for a fee. The locals are very nice.Guest review bymichelleUnited States - 10.0

A perfect base to explore Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii. Small and lively but not overcrowded. Lots of bars, restaurants and interesting streets to explore. Amazing views of the Bay of Naples. Vico Equense was a lovely little town, and the hotel was right next to the train station, so easy to get around. The staff were really friendly (especially the older gentleman in charge of the restaurant :), the breakfast was fine and there was parking behind the hotel for 10 Euro a day which is fair. Decent sized room and bathroom, comfy bed and pillows, great waterfall shower and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The room was also immaculate and very clean. The area of Vico Equense is great too - not too busy and a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. Domo 20 is a lovely hotel, the staff are without fail helpful, friendly, and speak excellent English. The breakfast is lovely - plentiful and varied, and the view from the rooftop cocktail bar is sensational.
