I'm so happy I chose to stay at the GHV Hotel for almost 30 days! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the hotel had a great atmosphere, and the pool was incredible! It was one of the best things that happened to me in my 35 days in Italy staying at the GHV Hotel.

I liked everything about this stay: a big comfortable bed, large room, a sitting/standing shower with massage function, amazing varied buffet breakfast (the best ingredients and the best plant-based options I have ever seen at a hotel), a private parking spot in front of the room.     Vicenza offers a great deal to the visitor who enjoys...

    Vicenza offers a great deal to the visitor who enjoys leisurely strolls through beautiful, well-kept historical neighborhoods with interesting architecture (especially Venetian) and museums as well as excellent restaurants and cafes. The Olympic Theatre is a must as well as a walk in the hills just outside the city where the Villa Rotonda is located. The Piazza dei Signori, flanked by the Palladio Basilica, is a pleasant place to have a coffee or a meal. Paying the entrance fee to the Palladio Basilica is well worth it for the spectacular views from the upper terraces.

    There is a lot to see in Vicenza - Get a City map and you can walk to nearly 12+ sights! The City center is charming, and there are also a lot of great restaurants off the beaten path. Found a great one: Osteria Monelli!

    The accommodation is located in an apartment block & the owner has a shop down stairs (Kasinova). the location is good, in the city centre & close to most attractions. The apartment has a full kitchen, equipped with full size fridge, dishwasher , cooktop & oven. Has a large aray of cooking utensils & cutlery. Apartment is spacious, extremely clean, modern & comfortable. Bedroom a good size, bed & pillow comfortable, bathroom with shower and good water pressure. You pick up the key from her shop downstairs, be aware check-in is at 4pm & the shop usually shuts from 1.30pm to 4.00 pm, so you can't get in during this time. They will store your bags if required when you checkout, but you can't pick them up between 1.30pm & 4pm. The apartment has good air-conditioning. Overall a very nice place to stay & I would have no hesitation staying there again.

    It is lovely, like the majority of Italian cities. I liked the food, the climate and the church of Santa Corona, with a beautiful painting of the Baptismo of Christ, by Giovanni Bellini, painted between 1500 and 1502.. It has been considered by Art critics as one of the five most beautiful paintings in the world. Especially by the British art historian Andrew Graham Dixon

    Vicenza is a lovely small town in Italy and a very good base...

    Vicenza is a lovely small town in Italy and a very good base for exploring the Veneto region with great connections from the centrally located railway station - I used it as a base to visit Padua, Chioggia, Venice, Treviso, Citadella, Bassano del Grappa and Verona. There is a great choice of places to eat and drink, a good selection of shops, and some fascinating historical sites.

    Loved the restaurants and all the easy to walk to sights. Also an easy walk to the train and bus terminal! And a 20 min walk to their ER hospital which I had to go to because I fell and fractured my wrist. I was given amazing kind professional treatment and yes you have to wait in the ER for some time due to how many people are before you however it was worth it to receive such care and economical care too. I am very grateful to Vicenza's health care system. We could use this in the USA!

    Great place for one night stay, hence why we rented a small unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast included many options, from scrumbled eggs to fresh vegetables and fruit. The front desk staff was very helpful with parking near the hotel. They made great recommendations for a seafood dinner. Vicenza had a home game (calcio). The flow of hundreds of people and the cheering in the stadium made us feel part of Vicenza.

    Room was big and clean, so was the bathroom. Hotel looks relatively new and modern equiped. Breakfast very rich and diverse, from cold to warm dishes, yoghurt, cakes and fruit. Bus station is in front of the hotel, tickets can be bought at the reception, to the centre of Vicenza is about 15 - 20 minutes ride. Next to the hotel is shopping centre.
