Venice is the most magical Place in the world.

Venice is the most magical Place in the world. Even in chilly November, it is great, not as crowded as summer. Agli Archi restaurant was incredible. Taking a trip to the 3 islands is highly recommended!!! Murano and Burano were amazing.

Stunning place to visit, world class art, buildings and centuries of history. Lots of mid range eating places, the pricing structure reflecting the distance from St Mark's square. No matter how careful you are you will go through a lot of cash.

Venice was easy to navigate using the water buses although they can be full at times are the best way to get around rather than the more expensive water taxi. There was plenty of places to visit and a trip on the Gondola although very expensive barter and you may get the price down. Food and restaurants are plenty, for a coffee stop or an evening meal...

I visited Bienalle Architecture in old town Venice this time, but I also enjoyed walking all around Old town Venice. In other trip I visited the museums in Venice, so this time I only focused on the Bienalle... It was a lot to see and walk around. I actually ripped my shoes due to long walking and had to buy others. I recommend an exchange of shoes to be taken with you , even if it is a short 2-3 days trip. Both locations for the Bienalle exhibition were very interesting, The Garden and The Arsenale. Each takes at least 4-5hours to explore and enjoy, so they better be visited in consecutive days. In the evening I always enjoy the the music at the restaurants in Plaza San Marco and I recommend going there during evening lights.

Our most favourite place was anywhere near the grand canal, specially the Rialto and Academia bridges. We liked the Cicheti at Birreria Zanon in Cannaregio, near the Jewish Ghetto. The Chinese food at Oppa Ristorante coreana e cinese near Santa Lucia station. To get around Venice you cna purchase the Vaporetto 24 hour/48 hour pass, and hop-on hop off the water buses, but best way to explore Venice in my opinion would be by foot. Go into small alleys, get lost and then come back. Enjoy every moment, Venice won't bore you. In my next visit, I'd keep one full idle day without any agenda or site-seeing, but just roam around here and there.
