There is actually not one thing we didn’t like about this place. The staff do absolutely everything for you, and make you feel comfortable and welcome the minute you arrive. The pool and scenery was beautiful, we loved the waiter service. Beautiful local wines. The most amazing dinner, one of the best we had in our stay in Italy. Not forgetting the amazing breakfast. Honestly would recommend this place to anyone. Just beautiful. You’ll see what I mean from the minute you arrive and drive up that driveway, just wow.

Everything ! Amazing location and surroundings. We were able to use the pool or simply relax on your own patio area. Breakfasts were out of this world and Cinzia and the team were all lovely and very welcoming. We did the wine and olive oil tasting experience with Cinzia, which was informative and interesting and our stay even more special. Thank you !

The locals warm and friendly, the village and surrounding area beautiful, such a peaceful, tranquil place, perfect for relaxation away from hustle and bustle . Easy drive to Sienna twenty minutes away and so much to see and explore in the area and beyond.

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area...

    This is a great base from which to explore the Chianti area if you are looking to visit the small towns and several wine producers. It is also about a 20 minute drive to Gaiole if you are in the area for the Eroica cycling event. I really like the area - the hills are covered with oak forests or vineyards, and on most of the roads you drive through a tunnel of trees and foliage. The excellent wine and natural beauty alone are enough to merit a visit, but on top of that, the area also produced some of the best artists and writers of the renaissance, including Boccaccio, Dante, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci.

    The hosts were really nice and helpful, and the place itself was lovely. Every evening we had some wine on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful view and watching the sunset - it was a wonderful experience. It didn’t feel like a luxury hotel, but it was very comfortable and the price was good.
