Fantastic location (hidden gem) overlooking the local lake, had evening meal on restaurant terrace lakeside food/service was outstanding, reception staff fantastic/welcoming (good English) excellent quality and value. Worth noting Mergozzo is slightly away from lake Maggiore but quieter more intimate and much better value. Mergozzo is a fantastic place to spend a couple of days, also good for enjoyable overnight if travelling via Simplon pass, will stay again.

We liked everything! Location, area, atmosphere, breakfast. But the main advantage is the stuff! Thank you for your welcome, hospitality, professional approach, and kindness. They gave us better rooms, place for parking near the hotel, explanation. I travel a lot, so I can compare. One of the best or maybe the best stuff I have ever met! Thank you very very!
