The interior is fantastic. I don't know why the other reviews are calling for a refurbishment!! Surely you booked it based on photos too?? Anyway, I loved it.. was a time warp but in a great way. The morning sun blasts into tue bedrooms (once the curtains are open) and into the breakfast room. Lots of options s for breakfast, the lake is underneath the hotel pretty much, so you can nip for a dip easy!! Loved it.

The property is amazing great for couples set in such a peaceful area, the rooms are so comfy and we had lake views. The communication and check in was great very friendly. The breakfast and the room with choices was lovely and staff and host supper friendly, great restaurant 10 mins walk with eating inside or out again with views over the lake, free parking as well a few steps from the property. The apartment was great, air con worked perfectly in 2 rooms. Lots of space and main bedroom was very nice. Nice balcony, pool was very nice with sunbeds next to it. Only a 1min walk from lake which was a highlight. Great location for the supermarkets and boat harbour as well.

Clear instructions sent for arrival, pulled up outside & walked through entrance (where there are vending machines for hot & cold drinks) & retrieved keys from lockbox. Beautiful apartment with good sized outside covered terrace ( Godsend for getting the freshly laundered bike gear dry on the provided drying rack from bedroom, after a long extremely hot journey from UK) on ground floor overlooking the large pool with plentiful sun beds. Short walk down the road to Lake Garda, equally short walk up the road to local supermarkets. Good range of shops & restaurants within walking distance. Secure underground garage with ample room for motorcycles or cars.

Everything was perfect. The apartment is fresh, clean, new and Roberta, the owner, is a treasure. Every our need was satisfied very quick, she was always there for us and we never felt abandoned. There is a private parking place, so no need to worry about the parking, and its suitable for any kind and size of the car. Beds were fresh and clean, kitchen has a good cooking ware, I'm the person who like to cook and I appreciated it. Refrigerator was big, and already full of water and a lemonade. There were conditioners in every room so it was never cold or hot. The closest supermarket is like 5 minutes away with car.

Location was good, not too big but enough going on.

Location was good, not too big but enough going on. Access to lake / beaches good, enough restaurants etc. We found a pizzeria just in the town which was lovely food, lovely roof terrace and away from the tourist restaurants by the lake. (Restaurante Pizzería Gatto Giallo) We didn’t have a car, so was reliant on ferries and buses, which meant some early starts, some long journey times and careful planning. Fast ferries need prebooking. Taxis from train station very expensive - so if you arrive to area by train pre-book a transfer!

Mostly unspoilt by tourism compared to other lakeside towns. Well connected by the ferries and buses and plenty of places to eat and or drink. An old papermill to visit and pleasant alleyways to explore. There is also a bit of entertainment if you hunt around including a jazz night and a 5k run when we were there.

Maderno is an excellent base with good ferry connections across and round the lake; both as a walk on passenger and with the car. The town is not too "touristy", there is not a great deal to do beyond wandering and sitting by the lakeside. It is well served with supermarkets for self catering. We used the town mainly as a starting point to go elsewhere.

Beautiful and cozy village with couple of quality restaurants, everything within walking distance. There is ferry line connection so you can easily travel around Garda. So far one of best bakeries on our Italian trip Carlo Pasticceria.

It is not the most accessible part of Lake Garda, but the town is about 30 minutes from the hotel. You can catch the ferry from there and there are a few good places to eat. I would suggest staying a few days at diferent locations around the lake. There is a local bus service, but it is not that regular.

Going anywhere for holiday, our overall perception is a mix of many conscious and unconscious happenings, views, scents, people, nature. In case of La Cascata Negli Ulivi if I was to mention the most important, then it would by far be the host's hospitality and helpfulness. Giovanni is a star, providing us sense of calmness and relaxation. We also loved the property itself, the beautiful and peaceful garden (even more stunning than on the pictures) and the breakfasts which were a celebration of Bella Vita ;) Garda lake itself and surrounding nature, is an epic experience itself. We will come back for sure! Recommend visiting Limone sul Garda, including the panoramic bike path up north, Varone waterfalls, Arco castle and possibly many more we haven't had the time to vistit or left for next time. If you want to spend some leisure time at the lake, a public beach in Toscolano Maderno would be our choice.

A very nice place with extremely friendly staff. At the reception, the young lady explained everything clearly and even adjusted to our late arrival time, which was much appreciated. The hotel offers private paid parking, which is very convenient. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, a pleasant experience and we would be happy to recommend this place.

We stayed for one night to travel further southern in Italy. For this purpose the stay was perfect, we had the smallest room with a big bed and a proper bathroom with a shower. The staff is super friendly and the location of the Hotel at Lago di Garda is sweet, not at the very densest spots of tourism but still with everything you need around. Clean rooms, uncomplicated communication!

Parking in place, big and clean room and comfortable bed, good location as Garda sightening base camp. Nice view from terrace to Garda like. Pool is clean. Free Access to hot & cold drinks whole day.
