We stayed here for our 25th anniversary trip to Italy on our way from the Lake Como area and before visiting Portofino and the Cinque Terre and Tuscany. The hotel was very kind to upgrade us to a beautiful bay view with balcony. It was spectacular. We had a drink there and then ate in their restaurant, which was good. Breakfast was also very good and had lots of options. Espresso drinks were wonderful. I chose this hotel because it also had a nice gym, and I enjoyed it and its spectacular view. We were hoping to eat at the seaside restaurant and sit by the pool because the weather was in the 80s, but they were clsoed for the season. :( We visited Santa Marguirita Ligure, which was lovely, for lunch, and very close by.

The location is fantastic—conveniently close to the train station, making it a breeze to explore the stunning Riviera. They were incredibly helpful, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. A special shoutout to Simone, who was an absolute star! He organized a boat charter for us, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip—swimming in the crystal waters of Portofino and visiting the breathtaking sunken statue of Jesus of the Abyss was an unforgettable experience. The hotel also impressed us with their attention to detail, even ensuring our electric car was fully charged and ready to go. In an area where finding a high-quality hotel with exceptional service can be challenging, Capitolo Riviera is a true standout. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Highly, highly recommend this hidden gem.

Very smooth check in. Lovely small hotel central to the port and beach in Camogli. Everything spotlessly clean, comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to return to Albergo Augusta for a future stay in Camogli.
