I made a last minute booking after changing my travel plans and found the Hotel Continental. There are new owners and they are doing amazing in my opinion! They were welcoming and eager to help me with anything if necessary. The room was spatious, clean, and included all the necessities for my short stay. The air-conditioning was also a blessing after a day outside. The hotel is in a good location as well: within walking distance of the centre and two dozen restaurants. And I mean, how often can you say you slept with a literal tank in front of you?

Booked one night stay at very short notice due to other local booked accommodation/apartment not providing the same accommodation as booked a few months prior. On arrival the two male reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and of good size, bed and pillow was wonderfully comfortable and for a one night stopover on a motorbike tour I woke feeling refreshed and ready to continue my journey. Breakfast was more than enough choice with excellent coffee and attentive staff willing to meet your needs. The local area has bars and a supermarket within five minutes walk and the local area square with a cafe offering icecream where the local residents come together in the evening.

We were pleasantly surprised to find our room so spacious. It was clean and was tidied and cleaned every day. We found our stay very comfortable. The breakfast had plenty on offer. The location of the hotel was good. the bus stop to Cassino was right outside and the walk to the centre was about 15 minutes. We are very grateful to Claudia and Achille for all their help. We will be back again.

The tiny little spot Terrelle is situated on a sunny (950/...

The tiny little spot Terrelle is situated on a sunny (950/1010 m high) and green mountain terrasse , above unique centuries-old chestnut groves, with very antique and very big chesnut-trees, like natural monuments........ And offers a very beautiful and unique panoramic view onto the Mainarde mountain range. There are several good possibilities to walk around, always with a great panorama and rather comfortly.......just from the house, or from the street to Terrelle, or above Terrelle, up to 1.200 m high, a very comfortable way to come to a point from where You will have also a wonderful view onto MonteCassino Abbey and Cassino. And we enjoyed very much the walks in the unique centuries-old chestnut groves. It was all a very nice experience. You should know that there up is no shop to buy anything and no farmacy, and no gas station. You have to drive down to the valley to Atina, approx. 11km mountain road........
