Loved the fact that it hasn't been renovated. Very comfortable and old world which may not suit everyone. Comfortable bed, good water pressure and hot water in the shower. Unfortunately couldn't sit outside as too windy. Also loved the NONNA memorabilia.

Everything. The place was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the location was quiet and very close to the centre of town. There was plenty of coffee, milk, juices, yogurts, water and cake in a big kitchen with lots of cooking utensils as well. Marcello was so helpful and welcoming and on top of that he made us a beautiful cooked breakfast with lots of fresh produce, we felt very spoilt. We only stayed the one night because of our schedule and regretted not staying longer. The town of Nicosia is such a special picturesque place with lots history like so many Italian villages. We came across many friendly proud people here and shared many laughs and yes the food and coffee in town was delicious.

I never experienced accomodation that clean, really. It was such a lovely apartment to stay. There was everything we need. There was quite a lot of space to safely park a car near by. Thank you 🙏

We had rather poor weather, and the town was very quiet in...

We had rather poor weather, and the town was very quiet in February. We enjoyed looking round the castle. There is no restaurant in the town, but we had an excellent lunch in a village about half an hour away: Trattoria de Salvatore in Petralia Soprana.

The castle is very beautiful, partly carved into the rock,...

The castle is very beautiful, partly carved into the rock, offering a beautiful view. Be careful with the steps if it's wet. The cave area is very beautiful; they can't be visited, but they're very evocative. The town is very clean and quiet. There's a lady working an ancient loom. There's not much to eat, as it's October, but you can make do. It's easy to explore on foot.

A beautiful medieval village.

A beautiful medieval village. The castle nestled in the rock is stunning. The locals are courteous and friendly; we ate an excellent pizza at the bar-pizzeria on the lookout. The entire village can be explored on foot.
