Very nice family atmosphere, and very helpful staff. Special thanks to Rudi for helping out when our car broke down. The beds are very good. Also breakfast was excellent with a nice selection, including fresh fruit, and options for eggs. Restaurant had great quality food.

Hotel Bijou was exceptionally clean and the room looked refurbished. The half board is highly recommended and the food was plentiful and authentic and very tasty. Ivo the owner could not do enough for you and he was always available to assist you with a smile with whatever you needed. The shuttle bus was available to transport you to the ski lift.

It still has the charm or a traditional Albergo with the downstairs area still having the charm of its origins in 1930. However our room on the new 4th floor had comfortable bed and a fantastic walk in rain shower which provided the necessary simple modern comforts. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Location for skiing is particularly good as the Frechay lift is now a modern funicular that gives you quick access to the Frechay and Greasonay areas better than from Champoluc. If you want to go into Champoluc for nightlife then you will have to take a taxi or have a car . However for skiing it is a good option and one which exceeded our expectations.
