The apartment was amazing !!! Everything we could possibly need was provided !! The roof terrace is huge with great views of the streets below . The hotel is an Italian villa built in 1711, with a lot of...

The hotel is an Italian villa built in 1711, with a lot of Baroque decoration in the building and surrounding park. Our room (a junior suite) was large, with a small balcony and separated bathroom/toilet. We even had a jacuzzi bath, functioning. The fittings however were oldish and the provided amenities did not live up to a 5 star hotel standard. Breakfast was decent but monotonous, again not living up to a 5 star hotel standard. The hotel is a venue for social events (marriages, birthdays etc) involving a high level of noise, loud music and fireworks most of the nights (in our case 8 out of the 9 nights we spent there) up to well past 11 pm and sometimes later. Take this in consideration if you like to come to an oasis of calm and serenity after a long day in the Italian heat. You'll not find it in this hotel. Parking is available and free even if crowded at evenings with the vehicles of the guests to one of the events. The pool is nice looking but I never saw one person using it and there always was an underwater cleaning robot doing its thing in the morning. It seems the pool is more of a decorative item than a usable guest amenity. All things considered our stay at the hotel was pleasant, the evening noise bearable with the help of ear plugs and the TV allowed me to connect an Amazon FireTV stick and enjoy my favourite entertainment without being restricted to Italian TV programs.

Beautiful place with breathtaking views . Super friendly and welcoming staff . Room nice big size , super clean and bed so comfortable . Breakfast super tasty served in garden with beautiful views on volcano. Nice vine tasting areas . Road to hotel is not to bad , don't let other people to put you off with comments "very narrow roads" as the road is not that bad , I could manage with no problems or panic. We would definitely stay again !

On arrival plenty of free parking available and a friendly courteous reception. The entrance driveway is long with well planted garden areas giving a welcome calm pleasant feeling in contrast to the chaotic traffic and run-down environment of the general area. The hotel itself is wonderfully ornate and spacious and our room (305) had a nice balcony with bistro set and great views of Vesuvius. Bar staff friendly and accommodating.

I liked the family hotel, the garden and the pool. The furniture was new and everything we needed, we had even a washing machine. The breakfast was not included, but Giovanna brought us croissants, and gave us information about parking in Naples and checking whether we are getting alight.
