A spacious, bright, and very cozy apartment with lots of windows, a balcony, and a huge bathroom (also with two windows). The owners have thought through many details, and the interior is tastefully decorated. The apartment is located in the old center, but the windows overlook quiet, beautiful side streets (no noise). We stayed for two nights. The location is very convenient, just a five-minute walk from the center. It is amazingly quiet and has a closed parking area for the car. The cleanliness is particularly noteworthy - it is ideal for two people. I would like to especially mention the host, Michaela. They are a very pleasant person who genuinely enjoys taking care of their guests. I recommend agreeing to and ordering the breakfasts prepared by Michaela - they are very tasty, beautifully presented, and made with care.

Amazing little town full of character, history to see and...

Amazing little town full of character, history to see and good food! Nestled in the mountain range this town is a hub close to many other amazing small towns in the area. Known for their amazing prosciutto and Fruilano wine, this is a sure spot to visit for an easy stay. Bagatto prosciutto offered a great little tour, answering many questions, and had an amazing sampling of meat following. The tiramisu was also great! The person in the info/tourist office was very helpful and gave us lots of different sites to see. All were free to visit (church, old house, etc). Unfortunately not everything was open. Easy to park the car and walk around for the day! We happened upon a bike race that filled the town with energy and bikers looping through the main streets and hills.

A beautiful little town.

A beautiful little town. We were planning our trip around a concert in Majano and a visit to Udine, so unfortunately we didn't really have a lot of time to explore San Daniele. But from what we've seen, it's a beautiful town with a lot of history and culture and of course the world famous gastronomy! We will definitely return to give San Daniele the time it deserves!

San Daniele is famous for its prosciutto, of course, and one should not miss out on tasting some in a special 'cantina degustazione'. Various excellent restaurants also offer other traditional Friulian dishes - and when you have eaten too much, you can enjoy a walk around the historical center with its interesting architecture.

Nice town of the best prosciutto and good wine at reasonable prices. Wonderful surroundings for visiting and exploring, especially for cycling. Could be reached very easily (by car), not far from Slovenia. Dinner in restaurant Da Catine at Aonedis was typically local (at very acceptable price), as well as the lunch at Dall Ava proscutifficio with excuisite prosciutto dishes. Recommend also to visit a nearby winery Bidoli (excellent friulano and cabernet)

Wonderful apartment hotel in quite location of the city, very clean apartment with small kitchen. We had apartment number 14 on second floor, with poor wifi signal in bedroom, living rooom/kitchen was fine. Breakfast is great with various hot and cold meals, also some fruits and cakes. Large parking space in the front of hotel or you can use the underground hotel parking. Restaurant serve classic italian meals from this region - pasta or meat. We can fully recommend this place.

This hotel is really amazing. All modern and new, very confy and with great location!! There is a free public parking nearby. Staff is very kind and they treat you so well!! it is managed by its owners!! they make you feel like home! Restaurant is very good, you should try the prosciutto! breakfast is very complete. The best part is the terrace with the amazing view!!!! I will come back for sure. 100% reccomended

Very nice hotel run by a couple, who give a very personal feeling. I recommend the hotel to people with families and small children. There is a farm nearby with donkeys and geese. The room stanard is OK, very clean. Amazing breakfast with everything home made: bread, muffins, jam, yogurt, you name it. Peaceful location with great views. Close to a bike route. The owners are very helpful.
