A good place to stop on the way from Poland / Austria to mid/south of Italy. The check-in process was flawless (self check-in in our case), the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Two tasty chocolates awaited us on the bed - a very nice touch :) The guests can enojoy a common kitchen with tea, coffe and some small snacks - that is a lovely idea! The complimentary breakfast was very good with a great variety of food. The are a lot of nice restaurants in the area and we really enjoyed our stay. Our dog was also warmly welcomed :)

The room was bright, clean and very comfortable. Although the apartment doesn't have a kitchen, there was a small refrigerator with yoghurts and bottled water, a coffee maker with plenty of capsules and a basket with some breakfast essentials. We had a lovely overnight stay at the Sensory Garden in San Daniele. The miniature house is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our hostess was very caring and welcoming, creating a warm, soulful atmosphere. San Daniele is famous for producing the best prosciutto in Italy, and the best prosciutteria is just 200 meters from the Sensory Garden. Although we stayed only one night on our way home, we would love to return and spend a full week here!

Lovely, comfortable and modern room, very friendly staff who were always smiling and happy to help. The restaurant is fab, breakfast was also really nice with home made focaccia including vegan options. Free parking also appreciated. It's a sustainable hotel that tries to keep emissions low and use local produce. Fantastic hotel, highly recommend!

Amazing little town full of character, history to see and good food! Nestled in the mountain range this town is a hub close to many other amazing small towns in the area. Known for their amazing prosciutto and Fruilano wine, this is a sure spot to visit for an easy stay. Bagatto prosciutto offered a great little tour, answering many questions, and had an amazing sampling of meat following. The tiramisu was also great! The person in the info/tourist office was very helpful and gave us lots of different sites to see. All were free to visit (church, old house, etc). Unfortunately not everything was open. Easy to park the car and walk around for the day! We happened upon a bike race that filled the town with energy and bikers looping through the main streets and hills.

A beautiful little town.

A beautiful little town. We were planning our trip around a concert in Majano and a visit to Udine, so unfortunately we didn't really have a lot of time to explore San Daniele. But from what we've seen, it's a beautiful town with a lot of history and culture and of course the world famous gastronomy! We will definitely return to give San Daniele the time it deserves!

San Daniele is famous for its prosciutto, of course, and one should not miss out on tasting some in a special 'cantina degustazione'. Various excellent restaurants also offer other traditional Friulian dishes - and when you have eaten too much, you can enjoy a walk around the historical center with its interesting architecture.

Nice town of the best prosciutto and good wine at reasonable prices. Wonderful surroundings for visiting and exploring, especially for cycling. Could be reached very easily (by car), not far from Slovenia. Dinner in restaurant Da Catine at Aonedis was typically local (at very acceptable price), as well as the lunch at Dall Ava proscutifficio with excuisite prosciutto dishes. Recommend also to visit a nearby winery Bidoli (excellent friulano and cabernet)

Very nice hotel run by a couple, who give a very personal feeling. I recommend the hotel to people with families and small children. There is a farm nearby with donkeys and geese. The room stanard is OK, very clean. Amazing breakfast with everything home made: bread, muffins, jam, yogurt, you name it. Peaceful location with great views. Close to a bike route. The owners are very helpful.

We were 3 motorcyclists staying for 3 nights. We had two rooms.The rooms were very clean.The breakfast in the morning was plentiful and always filled up if anything got low. The lady of the house was very nice and gave us information where we could dine.The restaurant next door served excellent meals. The hotel offer a lot of facilities that are not very common, a part from an outdoor car park there was a garage available as well as a storage room and a laundry. The mini flat is well equipped and have everything you may need. The breakfast was above any possible good expectations. The staff was very kind and competent.
