My family had a wonderful time here in June, for almost 3 weeks. The hotel is perfectly located on a hill next to the national park, overlooking the sea. The complaints in other reviews, that it's far away from the beach and city, are not justified in my opinion because it all matches the descriptions of the hotel online. There is a free shuttle bus which takes you hourly to a nice beach club (5 minute drive, sunbeds are included), and one can even walk just down the hill to reach a small public beach. The place itself has been refurbished over the past years, and some parts are still updated one after another. But there is no major construction going on anymore, so it's overall very quiet and peaceful. Most outstanding is definitely the quality of all the finishings, the marble floors, and the beautiful pool area. The rooms are of different categories, and we had a standard double room. For a family with kids, this category may be a bit small, and we'd choose a bigger one next time. The rooms have all been renovated, only the bath rooms are slightly dated, which didn't bother us, though, as they were still nice and matched the descriptions and photos. As for the food, this was certainly another highlight. Very capable chef, and we ate there quiet often instead of going out. Fantastic pasta, seafood, or just small snacks - we were always satisfied, and our wishes were met. What made this place so special for us was the staff. Everyone from the hotel owner to the cleaning ladies made us feel like family and were super friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel's general manager made everything possible, no matter what we needed, and the drinks at the bar always came with a smile and nice chat. . Should we decide to come back to Puglia, it would be definitely the Rodi Resort again. This is certainly the nicest place in the area.

It was an amazing stay! Francesco make us feel like in home. He is very hospitable, communicative, warm and kind person. He gave us very good recommendations on restaurants, some events in centre and the best places to visit. The room is very clean, light and cozy. It’s close to the beach, port and centre.     Rodi is a charming village with nice beaches, beautiful little port, loads of great restaurants. Accessibility is not so great given it is 2 to 4 hours from the airports (Pescara 2hr and astronomical prices, Bari 2h30, Naples 3h30, Rome 4hr). Evening walks in the old village are wonderful, loads of life and great food.

    Rodi G is a great place to stay if you want the small town...

    Rodi G is a great place to stay if you want the small town feel with the beach just steps away. The people in the town were very friendly (we went to lots of the local shops every day) and even though most didn't speak English, were very patient as we practiced our Italian:) We visited many other "small" seaside towns in Gargano while on our trip, and Rodi was, by far, our fave. It has everything you need for a relaxing vacation without big tourist crowds. Amazing little place!

    **Review of Rodi Garganico** Rodi Garganico is a pleasant gem that we had the pleasure of visiting for a few nights. The city is incredibly picturesque, with a labyrinth of pathways winding between charming buildings. This maze-like design means there is always a different route to the same place, though it is easy to become disoriented. Despite our short stay, we found the few bars and restaurants we visited to be friendly and welcoming to visitors. The local hospitality added to the charm of this delightful town. Rodi Garganico is a place we would highly recommend for its beauty and warm atmosphere.

    Ideally situated for the wonderful beach area...friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful when our travel plans got changed..walking distance from the railway station connecting the town to Foggia staion and the rest of Italy (butthe train may not run out of season)..walking distance to the town center (uphill) and its dozens of bars/restaurants.

    Rodi Garganico is a relatively small town in the northern...

    Rodi Garganico is a relatively small town in the northern part of the Gargano Peninsula. Although there are tourists, it doesn't feel overcrowded. Also, most of the tourists are Italian. Only a handful of tourists from other nations are to be found. The locals are genuinely nice, the food is great, and although we visited the town the second time this year, we were able to find new restaurants, bars, locations, and have a great time. There are shops of all sorts, and one can find everything necessary. There are also other nice towns and locations near by, like Pescici and Vieste, or the Lake Varano. Hiking is possible in the not so far Gargano National Park. The best part of the village is the beachfront, the "Spiagga di Levante". It is protected by the harbor from bigger waves, so the water is very calm and clear. It is perfect for swimming, but for just enjoying the water in general as well. A nice location is the harbor. Don't be afraid to go and visit it during the night time. There are restaurants, shops and bars which I highly recommend. Rodi is a town, with whom my biggest problem is the distance from my home town. I hope to visit it next year as well.

    This apartment is a wonderfull place for vacation in Rodi Garganico. We especially loved the terace with flowers around and sea view, and the location in the town near everything. The apartment was luxurious and clean, it even looked freshly painted. There is one bedroom with one doublebed and a single bed, and one extra single bed in the living room, washing machine, dish washer, wifi.
