Filippo was an incredible host. Made us feel very welcome. His story about how he started wine making is remarkable. And his wine is absolutely delicious. The Chardonnay was top class which we got to taste at the wine tasting. Francesco the chef was superb. The food he made was by far the best Sicilian food we ate on our whole trip. If we asked for anything, he obliged. Nothing was a problem to either Filippo or Francesco. We did the cooking class with Francesco and that was incredible. We learned about all the fine details that go into Sicilan food. I would highly recommend both the wine tasting and the cooking class. All the produce from the farm is organic, so no headache the next day after the superb red and white wines! The room was pristine and the whole farm is set in a truly idyllic place. The views are stunning. The road to the farm is a long one with some rough patches of surface but it is all part of the experience. I would highly recommend Tarantola to anybody!

Fantastic and beautiful location. Very clean comfortable and spacious room. Lovely swimming pool. Excellent food, we had breakfast lunch and dinner every day. Staff were amazing. I was suffering severe sciatica when I arrived and throughout our stay. Staff helped with luggage, brought meals to our room if when I was unable to sit in the restaurant and even went to the village pharmacy and purchased painkillers for me. Nothing was too much trouble. We will go back when I am fit enough to explore the valley properly.

Perfect place, silent, rare village, when opening windows in our room we see orange trees. Very kind owner. Breakfast prepared forbus on time we need. Definitelly we can recommend and we hope we will come to visit again in future.
