Unusual place. Maurício a wonderful gentleman who put so much work and heart into this place to make it look so unusual ... I couldn't get enough, every detail is like a part of the whole history of this house. Much respect to you Maurício for this great contribution.. Beautiful accommodation in a lovely garden setting in an old quiet village. Our hosts were super welcoming and helpful. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent with plenty of vegetarian variety. It is a wine aficionado’s paradise! Highly recommended.

I had stayed here 8 years ago and wanted to come back. The hotel is owned by brewery Baladin, and was completely renovated by their founder, genius Teo Musso. The rooms are beautiful and each has their own decor. It's right across the street from their first brewery/bar, which is still working. Every Sunday Teo speaks about his journey and does a brewery tour of the new grounds down the street. Highly recommend it! Plus, this area is right next to Barolo, which has some of the best wines in Italy. Another nice town to visit nearby is Alba, which has a 3-star Michelin restaurant (Piazza Duomo) and a bistrot from the same owners, Piola.
