Lovely comfortable apartment for a family of five. Washing machine was fabulous as we just arrived from the sulphur springs and needed to wash our sulphur infused bathers. Fabulous air-conditioning. Everything so clean. Beds so comfortable. Shower great. Parking free on street outside. Ina met us at the apartment, explained everything and had welcome goods for us such as yoghurt, milk and sweet treats. Such a nice woman. Coffee machine with pods provided. We were 2 minutes walk from a fabulous beach on our doorstep, then a further 10 minute beach/seaside walk from the Scala dei Turchi and 12 minute drive to the Agrigento temples. It was ideally located. I would definitely stay again.

Alessia was a great host, very welcoming and accommodated to our car needs, and allocated us a parking space, free of charge. The apartment was just the right size for my partner and I. It was clean, had all the general amenities, and had a lovely front terrace. We also had access to the pool :) Overall, we felt safe in Real Monte. The location of Alessia apartment was perfect. It's a 7-10 min drive to Scala dei Turchi beach! I would definitely recommend it.

We loved everything about our two nights at La Scogliera. It was our favourite accommodation of our trip to Sicily. Natale is such a nice guy and very patient with our attempts to speak Italian, but happy to help out in English when we struggled! Even though only the two of us were staying those nights, he put on wonderful breakfast spreads with a choice of deliciously fresh Sicilian pastries, fruits, meats and cheeses. Our spacious room with private terrace overlooking the sea was beautiful. The location was perfect for morning and evening strolls along the beach to the Scala dei Turchi which you can climb on for free before and after the ticket monitors arrive/leave. Only 20 mins drive to the amazing valley of the temples in Agrigento. We hope to visit again.

Disappointing, we drove specifically to the city because of...

Disappointing, we drove specifically to the city because of the location it wasn't mentioned anywhere that you need to buy tickets in advance. We arrived at the site at 11:30 in the morning and were told that the sale of tickets had ended and it was not possible to attend the conference. It was really disappointing and there was no service and they didn't explain to us why it ended at such an hour and they didn't treat us and all the people who were there.

There is a problem when you arrive. There was an entrance gate with broken intercom and no one to meet us. I wasn't sure this was the main entrance. I did not understand the email sent during the afternoon describing how to find a key. I telephoned the owners number on Booking.com and was told to ring another number (which didn't work.) Luckily another guest let us in and showed us the key safe and how it worked. Without their help we would be stuck. We wanted to cut short our stay but the owners were lovely the next day and made us feel much better. It was like an episode from TV series 'The Prisoner'! It's a lovely location if you like being remote which we do.

This B&B has been opened for only five years but the place looks as if the owner had started his business . The whole place is fresh and greatly maintained. The on-site parking is a +. Our hosts were charming and ready to help. The breakfast was « ottimo » before taking a relaxing walk to the beach where is the beach front restaurant Maragia… great friendly people.

The terrace is lovely however the hotel is on a main pad and all the rooms are on the ground floor so it doesn’t feel the safest or quietest. The food is decent but if you eat there for meals other than breakfast there is a service charge The host is nice

Clean & spacious. Close to the beach, the Scala dei Turchi & the Valley of the Temples. The host kindly let us leave our bags in the apartment when we arrived an hour earlier than check-in so that we could go to the beach.
