We (a couple in their early 30s) were walking the Via degli Dei and this was our last night's stop before reaching Firenze. The apartment is only a few minutes away from the trail, and the view from the windows is exceptional. Gabriella was a very responsive and flexible hostess. The apartment is spacious and well-kept. There are no grocery stores in close walking distance, but there is a restaurant - just make sure to book in advance! The whole apartment was really clean, the bathroom equipped with a shower and a bathtub. The bedroom had high ceilings and a gorgeous view towards Firenze. The bed was also quite comfortable. If you are around, we would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great – only a 10-minute walk to the cathedral. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Although we didn’t have breakfast, we appreciated that we could leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out until the afternoon. The hotel definitely deserves more than its 2-star rating. We would happily stay here again!

I liked the fact the room was clean. We have asked for a cot, as we travelled with our child. The breakfast was delicious, with great variety of food. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and very accomodating. We have travelled a lot and stayed in different hotels around Europe and i can say that the staff in Palazzo Castri was class. Fairplay to the management for this!

Location is close to train station (around 10 min). The room is very clean and big. Bathroom is big and so clean. Staff is so nice, smiley, kind, helpful and positive. We really liked the hotel and will definitely stay there if we visit Firenze again!

The location is good.

The location is good. The hotel Demidoff though isnt great as the pictures suggest. The facilities they post and actually those facilities are not provided. Beware Swiming pool is closed. The good part is the adventure park nearby which is a lot of fun for kids and families.
