OK, we weren't expecting much after our overnight plane ride from the States. After finding it (a little tricky), we were very happy. There are just two rooms and we had the place to ourselves (a bonus). It's a lovely old house and it was immaculate and modernized. You can walk into the little village where there is a bar a few places to eat (Il Capriccio was excellent). It was perfect!

I stayed for just 2 nights but it was perfect - very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay - even provided a parking permit for a discount at the thermal baths! The host was very quick to communicate, despite us booking last minute. Thank you! 😊

Lovely unique place. The natural Source and Algae I think can hit the mind and the soul of most sceptical and rational people. You immediately understand that this is one of a kind nature creations that On top has a history of service excellence for ages. I have visited the place twice. And I see that the owners keep the standard - decorate the rooms, change the mattress, add spa protocols - despite of the various crisis like Covid etc. One of the biggest achievements is the restaurant, bell boys and the Bar. Last time we came restaurant was just a place to get to a day you arrive. Now it can compete with really great Tuscany cousins around. We came there twice during 5 days. The Bar guys are lovely. They serve cocktails day and night and also beautiful lunch. At the entrance you always get the best attitude even though you arrive - like we did - with 10 pieces of luggage on a dusty car after 7 hours drive and you get same attitude and service versus you arrive on Lamba.

We arrived to this place right on sunset time. The beauty of the property, the friendly service team, the wonderful food had brought us one of the best experiences in Tuscany - Zen. Make sure you don't miss out their terrace resturant for a romantic and relaxed wine and dinner experience if you would be arriving around dinner serving time. The local cook, wine and food were not just wonderful there, but it will make you an immediate connection to the deep local culture. Above of all, the owner-family-team would make you (even you don't speak Italian) feels home and great hospitality standard. Highly recommended for the car traveler, stopby lunch or dinner, or stay for a week to feel the true Tuscany. The landscape around hotel and ancient hilltop villages in the region are fascinating.

Everything! Beautiful, comfortable hotel and gardens..Perfect location to explore the local area. Very warm welcome, staff attentive and friendly. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of cut meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon. Also a selection of homemade cakes, pastries, yogurts, friut etc. Highly recommend.

    The landscape and the outdoor areas were absolutely fabulous...

    The landscape and the outdoor areas were absolutely fabulous. The view from the room very good , plenty of towels and slippers. Restaurant staff the best, specially the girl who looked after us for dinner and breakfast, very fast, friendly and informative. The room was specious and clean but basic, no complaints.
