Orgosolo has a good variety of restaurants and is a very authentic hill town. It is worth visiting if you want to base yourself for a few days in the interior mountainous hill towns of Sardinia. It is close to Nuoro, the capital of the municipality, but if you just want to walk to your meals at the end of the day, Orgosolo is a great (and better IMHO) place to stay.Guest review byAlbert

It's an easy walk, although Orgosolo appears to have no sidewalks so take care. The family room (with 3 beds) was fabulous, well decorated and very comfortable. Each floor has its own enclosed balcony, a cozy place to sit with a cup of coffee. In addition, the rooftop terrace would be a great place to stargaze or have breakfast.
