The owner was really welcoming and friendly. He made us feel at ease immediately and was available for any requests. The windows of the room had recently been replaced, so we didn’t hear any noise from the street in front. The location is ideal: in the main street of the center.

Lovely quite place on the middle of mountains. The rooms were just what you needed, simple and equipped. The dining area, gardens and pool were lovely and allowed relaxing afternoons by the pool with a nice view. 2 relaxing days.

There was coffee inside the kitchen and a few biscuits and we had the rest of our breakfast out in town. We had a lovely wood-chip heater which kept the place warm, apart from ACs in our bedrooms. The place was very clean and I would recommend it as it is in the centre of Orgosolo just a few steps and you're in Corso Repubblica, the main road.

Breakfast was fine. Enough to eat and drink there, although we found the Italian pastries a little sweet for our taste. Location was great with an easy if rather hilly walk around the local streets. Angela kindly booked a table for us at a local restaurant, which we appreciated.

we stayed at Il Portico two nights and we had a very nice ending of our vacation which we spent in different locations . Orgosolo is a very genuine place you get to feel "real "Sardinia. Lots of history , amazing food and hospitality.

Orgosolo has a good variety of restaurants and is a very authentic hill town. It is worth visiting if you want to base yourself for a few days in the interior mountainous hill towns of Sardinia. It is close to Nuoro, the capital of the municipality, but if you just want to walk to your meals at the end of the day, Orgosolo is a great (and better IMHO) place to stay.

A beautiful town known for its murals, many of which are truly exquisite. Accommodation and food, at least during this period, are very affordable. The beautiful Montes forest is nearby, offering hiking opportunities for all levels. A hike up Monto Novo San Giovanni is highly recommended, offering 360-degree views of the Supramonte and its surroundings.

We wanted to visit Orgosolo for a day away from the beach. Compared to the coastal towns, the climate here is cooler. The town streets have rollercoaster-like climbs and descents. Nice murals.

Orgosolo is a beautiful town where the people are hospitable, uncontaminated, and therefore authentically Sardinian. The local food is excellent, and you feel like you've stepped back in time, like my youth in Gallura.

Orgosolo is a small village where time seems to have stood...

Orgosolo is a small village where time seems to have stood still. Beautiful murals, traditions like donkey rides, and festivities abound. However, the roads leading there aren't great, and you really need to be careful, especially in the dark (rocks on the road, poor surface, and no markings or lights).

Cute B and B with parking in the beautiful mountain town of Orgosolo. Check communication was super easy and breakfast at the cafe was plentiful and straightforward. Lovely fresh room and bathroom with a fabulous shower. Terrace view over the mountains was great and guests have use of a kitchen and dining area. Orgosolo itself is great - we loved exploring for murals and had a memorable and very cheap meal at a local pizzeria.

Location, room, authencity, royal breakfast and superb lady, Pepina, who is taking care od everything amd every detail! She is the heart and soul od this B&B! The flat is wonderful - so big, clean and with a unique local atmosphere. It is located in the centre of Orgosolo, walking distance to visit the whole town of beautiful murals. The host welcomed us very warmly and despite language barrier, explained us everything very well. We wished we could stay longer.

This property exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautifully furnished, bathrooms excellent, and overall accomodation gorgeous. The location is perfect to explore the town and we were able to park the car right outside. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Orgosolo.
