My recent stay in Rocca San Felice was nothing short of extraordinary, an experience that transcended the typical notions of travel and instead offered a deeply authentic immersion into the quiet splendor of Irpinia. The apartment, curated with refined simplicity and a palpable sense of care, served as both sanctuary and invitation. It struck a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort, allowing me to feel rooted in the rhythms of local life while still enjoying every amenity. Each detail, from the soft linens to the carefully chosen decor, felt intentional, creating a space that was both welcoming and inspiring. But what truly elevated this experience was the soul behind it: the hosts, whose message of hospitality extended far beyond the physical space. Though we didn’t meet in person, their presence was felt in every thoughtful gesture and every beautifully conveyed word. Their passion for Irpinia and its cultural richness shines through in all they do. It’s clear that Appartamenti Rocchesi is not merely a business venture, but a heartfelt mission to share the poetry of a place they hold dear. Rocca San Felice itself is a treasure, a village seemingly untouched by time, where silence has weight, and the pace of life invites reflection. Wandering its narrow streets, discovering local wines and traditional dishes, and watching the sun dip behind verdant hills, all of it left a profound impression on me.

What a charming place with the most delightful staff who were so kind and welcoming! The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is set in a lovely position with great views. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent. Highly recommend!

I usually don't write any reviews about the places I stay at, but this one at Casa Philomena was exceptional! Rarely have I experienced such warm hospitality, kind-hearted hosts or passion to make a guest feel welcome. I nearly wasn't able to go to Lioni, so my lovely host offered to pick me up from the bus station in Avellino for a little fare and even cooked a home-made pasta lunch with regional products for me <3 Afterwards, we ventured out for a little trip to the local waterfall. The house/upper floor itself is amazing, cute and exactly what I expected from a well-kept place in charming Irpinia. Thank you, Ms Filomena & Mr Gustavo, for everything and giving me the best and most fantastic Lionese experience thinkable!

The hotel was very good, in every aspect. We were very happy to put the car on the private parking. On arriving on a Sunday, we were surprised to see a lot of people in the street close to the hotel. We thought there was some festivity going on, but there are crowds in town each sunday, as this is the place of a very well known sanctuary : San Gerardo di Massi.
